Bulletstorm Review

With their latest shooter Bulletstorm , People Can Fly and Epic Games have managed to construct a visually rapturous and mechanically flawless first-person shooter that challenges genre conventions and provides an interactive experience that ends up feeling like the most offensive amusement park...

Glorious action on a massive scale; Constantly twists FPS conventions; Tons of replayability in Echo and Anarchy

Combo system can get repetitive; "Intentionally" weak enemy AI calls attention to gaminess; Over-the-top tone is inconsistent

Bulletstorm review (PS3)

There's so many options and rewards from killing creatively, that Bulletstorm becomes probably the only FPS where shooting someone in the face feels like you're doing it all wrong.

Bulletstorm Review

Aside from a few graphical glitches, most notably some texture pop-up and screen stuttering, there's little to dislike about Bulletstorm. Anarchy co-op mode is great, and there's further replay value to be had out of Echo mode, where you only have a certain amount of time to rack up points.

The tremendous range of skill shots; Being rewarded well for getting creative with a great upgrade system; The co-op mode and Echo competitive play; which both add ample replay value

The forgettable script and storyline; The screen-stuttering that occurs during some of the more frenetic sections; The lack of any traditional multiplayer modes

Bulletstorm

Superb: A hallmark of excellence. There may be flaws, but they are negligible and won't cause massive damage to what is a supreme title.

Bulletstorm

Bulletstorm is at once both a wildly original and enjoyable shooter, and a cliché ridden retread of just about every average shooter you've ever played. You play as Grayson Hunt, a mercenary working for The Confederation of Planets' General Sarrano.

Bulletstorm

If we're being honest for a second, we were surprised. We thought this was going to be an ok game, gimmicky, but ok. Nothing special... boy were we wrong. Considering the sleuth of military shooters we've had recently (not that there's necessarily anything wrong with them), this is an incredibly...

Number One With A Bullet

From the moment you slip into Grayson Hunt's size 11 boots, you know what you're in for. Your vision is blurred from overindulgence in booze and the opening cut scene is a veritable swearathon.

Bulletstorm – Review (PlayStation 3)

A good game that could have been great if not for a few small, but annoying problems. If online is your chief concern, I'd look elsewhere (or look into the 360 version) but there's a lot of fun to be had in singleplayer. Just don't expect this to be a candidate for game of the year.

Bulletstorm PS3 Review

Spitting molten curses at a rate that would certainly make Jerry Sadowitz proud, Bulletstorm crashes into the cosy FPS genre spraying broken glass and mutants aplenty. The entrance is vociferous and vehement in everyway, nonchalantly swinging at anything in the way but somehow also managing to charm...

#@*!*^!#$&!!!

It's a game everyone should experience. I'm excited to see where People Can Fly take the inevitable Bulletstorm 2 , but for now kick back, have a few laughs, and sling some guys into a giant man eating plant. You deserve it.
