The printer provides sturdy and durable black and white printing on a variety of paper types. Easy double-sided printing. Useful as a scanner using it both manually and automatically feeding documents for scanning.

We purchased two of these. One for a remote salesperson who operates a standalone desktop. The other was for a new office that currently only has one employee, who remotes into a virtual PC at our home office. It works great connected to her PC, but will not print via RDP.

The MFCL2700DW has a lot going for it. The unit is quick to get the job done, with print and copy speeds of up to 27 pages per minute and output resolution of up to 2400 x 600 dpi.

had my eye on it for a wee while, got it on black friday for good money, hence also good value for money. i had to double-check to confirm that it only scans on one side, a bit of a draw back, but again, it's not a high value machine. the quality is good and toner lasts long enough.

Great printer. I wanted something for personal use ( copying, printing etc), not always daily, and had decided I did not need color. I chose to go with a laser printer because ink jets have a tendency for the inks to dry or clog when they aren't used daily, and also ink jets use a lot of ink for...

For over 20 years, my wife and I dealt with replacing ink cartridges that in most cases cost more than the printer. In fact, the last time her printer ran out of ink, I bought two cheapies, just for the ink included in the second one. The Brother laser printer changed all of that.
