In Theory...

In theory, this should be a great game; brilliant innovations with regards to objectives, customisation, and movement - but somehow the game seems very "thrown together". The single-player campaign is short, and very sporadic, there isn't really a "story" to it, at least not a very good one.

Brink

Brink is set on the Ark, a city built on artificial islands in the sea as a secluded enclave from a world increasingly on the verge of collapse. The residents find themselves more secluded than they bargained for when rising sea levels flood part of the Ark and isolate it completely from the outside...

Confusing, but fun

Brink is a FPS with an attempted RPG leveling system that leaves something to be desired. You start by designing your own character from a limited creation palette(all the faces seem abnormally long to me) Then decide if you want to save the ark(the only surviving land mass after a giant flood) or...

Brink is an "intresting" mix between awesome artstyle, bad design choices and countless technical issues. I liked the locations, background story, music, amount of various skills and character creation, but thats all about it. Lets get to the lacking aspects, which are plenty by the way.

Brink Review

Brink had the potential create a strong following among gamers, however it was poor execution tat leaves it hanging in the wind. A game that should have reached greatness, however has fallen short in a grand display of mediocrity.

"Great game!"

Great game for the money. I have yet to work my way through it but it is an entertaining game, with loads of variations. Being able to change character through the game adds a change to the normal game.

Bad AI, repetitive gameplay, multiplayer mechanics and environment and you put that on a single player experience Big mistake. Honestly I don't know what people see in this but I know this is simply for Hardcore multiplayer game fans only.
