Brink (Xbox 360)
It started as an experiment: a self-sufficient floating city (the Ark), able to sustain life for years to come. But then the waters rose. What was once an experiment is now humanity's only means of survival, for not only its founders, but for the thousands of refugees as well.

Me Shoot Now
In this day and age, first-person shooters litter the landscape like so much overripe fruit. While not every piece can be a delicious treat, one truly hates to discover a slightly spoiled interloper, especially knowing how much work it takes to bring it to market. Brink is one such game.
Pros:
- Seeing the credits roll came as a nice relief
Cons:
- Certain game-types can last fifteen agonizing minutes
- regardless of the win conditions

A month has passed since Dave awarded Brink's PC version a solid 7/10 - and promised that one of us would take a closer look at how Splash Damage's team-based shooter handles on consoles. I've developed a complex relationship with Brink over the last 30 days...

Brink Review
So here we are again: Class based multiplayer, check. Upgradable character classes, check. Teamwork-centric ever changing battlefield, check. Team Splash Damage at the helm, check. Not too long ago I found myself reviewing Quake Wars, and now I find myself playing a not-too-distant cousin, Brink.

Brink
Definitely a marmite sort of game, lots of promise with a mix of rehashed ideas from other games that just fall short of making sense. First thing of the bat this is a multiplayer focused game (you can play offline but you get the feeling of frustration at how good your opponents are compared with...

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare is a remarkably competent third-person-shooter that captures the humor of the PvZ franchise. It also deserves props for being a competitive multiplayer game that is actually kid and family friendly compared to the typical fare you find on Xbox Live.
Pros:
- Characters have a ton of personality
- nicely varied classes
- solid presentation
- fun gameplay
Cons:
- Not a lot of maps / modes
- plants are OP
- single-player is boring
- no splitscreen play on 360

Brink (Xbox360)
Around the same time that Bethesda Softworks officially announced its new romance with Splash Damage the couple promptly revealed that they were already working on a new baby. Anxious fans received much in the way of screenshots, concept art, developer diaries, in-game demo's and a long list of...

Brink Review
Brink for XBox 360 and PC is a first person shooter that attempts to blend together single-player, co-op and multiplayer gameplay into a seamless experience to develop your character no matter what mode you play. You get to decide your role in the game as you fight for survival and the human race.
