Less than 5 year life span

1.0
Verdict: Like the esppresso machine I bought, it failed after less than five years (gear box). I paid premium price for junk. Ironically I gave away my 30+ year old Kenwood mixer and 15 year old espresso. I now have to go to my friends for a espresso and cake.

Breville (BEM800)

4.0
Pros: This mixer has a sleek design – the brushed stainless steel finish hardly shows streaks and fingerprints, so it is easy to clean. If you want an affordable, stylish mixer that works effectively, this model is worth considering.
Cons: The whisks were slightly tricky to insert. When we made the pastry some flour splattered out of the bowl at the start and the pastry didn't come together very nicely, so we had to form a dough by hand

I love the products from Breville

1.0
Verdict: I love the products from Breville. Only one thing I don't like about this mixer is that you have to press the button to lift up. It is not very convenient, especially when your hands are messy with butter, flour, etc.

5.0
Verdict: I have used Kitchen Aid mixers for years - gone through 2 in short order - bad quality. I gave up in despair and ordered this Breville mixer. I have been using it now for over 6 months (mixing bread dough too) and it is SO much better quality than KA.

This mixer is great.

5.0
Verdict: It's easy to use and mixes great! It's not too heavy. I love the cord that hides away. I've had it up on the whip speed and my mixer didn't move at all. I've made heavy cookie dough and it does a great job. I would definitely recommend this mixer.

Verdict: Hi. Only mix between 600g of dough, 800g if you like to take a risk or you will burn out the motor. And if you buy one before the 25.12.14 you can get a free "Sage's Multi Cooker - BRC600UK" John.

Fantastic product

5.0
Verdict: I love this product, the scraper blade really does what it says and I have noticed a huge difference in the lightness of my cakes. No negatives at all, it is worth every penny and the recipes from Heston's book on the website are impressive as well. I really am delighted with my purchase.

Makes baking even better

5.0
Verdict: I was torn between a Kitchen Aid and the Breville mixer. After much debate, I decided on the Breville because the cord can be tucked into the stand. The performance is great and it looks great sitting out in my kitchen.

" Great quality "

5.0
Pros: Easy to use, Good build quality, Quiet, looks good
Cons: some minor usability issues
Verdict: First off, this is a really high quality product. The brushed metal finish looks excellent, it's got a powerful motor that's happy to mix even fairly thick dough, and it feels like it's going to last forever.

A dream come true!

Verdict: I have always dreamed about getting a stand mixer and finally decided to go for it. I liked the looks of the Breville mixer and the price was more reasonable then the other ones I was comparing it to on Ebay. I am very pleased with its performance. I especially like the scraper beater and the timer.

Add my voice

5.0
Verdict: "I would just like to add my voice to the request for Australian version of your stand mixer. While the color options would be nice, what I am more interested in is the wattage and warranty. I am in the market for a stand mixer in the near future and have been doing a lot of research.

Beats KitchenAid Mixer Hands-Down

4.0
Pros: Elegant Design, Even Mixing
Cons: Count-down timer, Heavy
Verdict: Very sturdy and elegant design. Countdown timer's great, but not intuitive to use. Overall, great product. If you want a classic, go with KitchenAid; if you want a more sturdy and functional stand mixer, then buy this.
