Overall a good shaver

I am directly comparing the Braun series 6 razor with a Philips series 5000 tri-head type. The Braun feels like a quality product, bit louder than the Philips, and the design is better at some parts of the face and neck, worse at others. Upper and lower lips are won by Braun, jawline and sideburn area are lost to Philips, both lose to traditional wet shaving in neck, Adams apple areas. The travel case is a good feature of the Braun, really protects it. No included sideburn/trimmer is a let down.

Loved using the shaver on dry skin, but it can also be used with shaving cream, or in the shower as it's 100% waterproof. Swivel head has three flexible blades, and shaves nice and close, leaving my skin feeling and looking great. Great 5 minute quick charge, or 1 hour full charge, giving 50 minutes shave time. Excellent design, top quality, very happy with this shaver and the results given.So impressed, I've since purchased the 4 in 1 SmartCare Centre to keep my shaver in top condition.

The product comes with a compact protective case however at the same time it does not fit the charger so you would have to put it somewhere separate in your bag while travelling. It would be also nice if the case had a little pocket to hold the small cleaning brush to prevent it from going missing. My husband doesn't shave everyday so he used his beard trimmer first before using the product. After that it worked very well, leaving the skin very smooth. Easy to clean, fast charging as well.

Loved the idea of the shaver and the fact that it could be used in the shower. But unfortunately it didn’t quite cut it. For the price I would expect it to be perfect but the end result was very patchy and disappointing. Resulting in using a razor to fix the job. Some areas it shaved ok and in other areas it did not cope at all - even with trying different directions. Would have loved to have a better experience with this shaver but unfortunately it didn’t live up to my expectations.
