Bowers & Wilkins P3 Series 2 Review

B&W's P3 Series 2 are beautiful, well-built and affordable.

Sleek; modern design; High-quality craftsmanship and materials; Hard case makes travel safe and simple; Good treble response

High clamping force erodes long-term comfort; Mid-bass hump overplays low-end content; Thin ear pads make for poor passive noise isolation

Bowers & Wilkins P3 Series 2

If we had one minor complaint about the original Bowers & Wilkins P3 , it was that the audio could have used a tad more high-mid and treble presence. With the new P3 Series 2, the headphone pair has just a hair more high frequency response, adding to the richness that was already there.

Excellent audio performance with rich, full bass response and well-defined high frequency presence; Luxurious, comfortable design; Detachable cable-ships with two cables, one with inline remote

Earpads must be removed to detach cable

Bowers & Wilkins P3 Series 2 Headphones

Supurb quality

Bought these on a whim. Absolutely brilliant headphones. No real noticeable audio quality if using deezer etc. But listen to CD or high res streaming and they blow you away

Excellent Cans!

Superb! A real quality product, excellent sound and very comfortable. Have previously been disappointed with Senheisers which have lasted no more than two years. The materials feel long-lasting and the carry case is a useful addition. A bargain at this price.

Bowers & Wilkins P3 Series 2 Headphone Review

Bowers & Wilkins is a brand that takes great pride in premium devices and premium audio. The recently just released a new pair of lightweight on-ear headphones that most definitely fits their premium requirement.

Durable; Lightweight; Super Premium finish and premium materials; Great for small ears; Affordable

Have to remove earcup to change cable; Heavy bass isn't for everyone

Headphones

I bought my husband these for his birthday and he is really happy with them. They are good quality and sound great.I wasn't sure how they would look as they are very cheap to other Bowers and Wilkins headphones but I was very pleased with the overall look of them

B&W P3 Series 2

B&W's most affordable on-ear headphones are practically portable and easy to listen to, just not class leaders

Clearer than the originals; with a more detailed treble; Portable and lightweight; Durable and well made; Easy listening smoothness and warmth; Rich; agile bass

Lack energy

Outstanding sound & build quality

Although I really wanted the P7's (thinking because they were more expensive and top of the line), I decided on the P3's, simply because of the wide price gap, and I had $149 at the time, instead of saving up more for the P7's (and having to wait). BOY!! Am I glad I did.

price; look; build quality; and most important: sound quality
