B&W's C5 In-Ear Phones
The iPod is often a bright spot for those that commute via mass transit. When the London Tube was part of my daily regimen, it seemed everyone wore headphones. However, bulky, noise-canceling ‘phones feel like winter earmuffs in the summer; too hot and sweaty for my taste.

This is the one article you can safely ignore Betteridge's Law of Headlines . The answer in this case is, yes. Or mostly yes. But first I have to come clean.

Bowers & Wilkins C5 in-ear headset review
Were we impressed by Bowers & Wilkins second headphone offering? For $180 dollars, the C5s are no doubt a posh, well built, and comfortable set of iDevice-compatible intra-aurals with mostly great sound to boot.
Pros:
- Beautiful aluminum design
- Secure Loop cabling provides a great fit
- Big sound with chunky mids and thick bass
Cons:
- Slightly harsh highs
- Moderate cable noise
- Earbuds scratch easily

Bass a bit muddy
Overall pretty good sound. Frequency response is pretty flat except for the bass, which is a bit boomy and muddy for my taste. I like different genres of music, including rock, jazz, classical, and sometimes even metal. After breaking them in for 3 months, the bass hasn't changed much.

damage
the headphone of the same brand that my brother had bought had given me want to try intra, especially because of its flawless finish, I was disappointed in the lack of reliability of intra relative to the headphone, even if one finds still much the same signature sound of excellent quality

A Struggle to get them to fit and stay put
Seem to be very solidly built. Very nice sound when I can get them in my ear correctly. I spend alot of time monkeying around with the "Loop" trying to get it secure in my ear. The buds tend to come loose easily. I am not sure that this design is right for me... but I own them now!
Pros:
- Solid build
- Nice sound when in ear correctly
Cons:
- Difficult to fit in ear and to stay put.

Bowers & Wilkins C5 Review
Despite its hefty price tag, the older P5 headphone is a reasonably good value in my book because – sound aside – very few sets can match its combination of portability, build quality, comfort, and isolation.
Pros:
- 2 year warranty
- secure fit
- fairly inoffensive sound signature
Cons:
- Would be more comfortable without earloop
- frustrating carrying case
- sound quality on par with cheaper sets

DO NOT BUY! 2 pair in 1,5 year broken!
I'm on my second pair. I thought I had been too rough with the first pair, so I decided to buy a new one, as I really liked the sound and fit. These new one I've had for 8 months, and I've treated them like a BABY, but now they are starting to crackle in the left ear, when I move the wire around.
Pros:
- Good sound
- comfy fit
Cons:
- The wire will most likely break within 6-8 months
- no matter how careful you are
