I use it for house parties in the house and by the terrace. One speaker is sufficient that is how powerful it is. I still have the other speaker in the box. I use the music from my i-phone to listen on the speaker. The only negative thing is that you have to hook it up to a wall outlet.

The Bose SoundTouch 10 is the Bose equivalent to the Sonos Play:1 , a little speaker that has proved incredibly popular. It's a similar size, the same price and is far more flexible, with a much more ‘open' approach than any Sonos speaker. It seems likely to be a great success.

It's brilliant sound quality however. When connecting two speakers up together it's tempremental and cuts out for few seconds if playing from phone but if you leave phone alone then it tends to play ok. It's a shame but upon reading others reviews I'm not alone on this issue.
