While the Bose doesn't have some of the smart fitness features you get in the likes of the Lifebeam Vi or Jabra Elite Sport - no heart-rate or cadence measure - we'd still comfortably call the SoundSport Free the best sports earphones for pure music enjoyment.

"An excellent piece of kit. I use them with a Sony NW-A35 Walkman AND they are just terrific. My musical tastes are predominantly classical although jazz features too. I have book readings on it for long-haul flying.

I won a pair of these in a running website competition and I'm very impressed with them. Sound is great. I don't actually run with headphones/music now, prefer the sounds around me and my breathing, but I do use them elsewhere. Not experienced any of the dropping out that others mention.

Bought these a couple of weeks ago and the sound quality is amazing. Crystal clear at low volume and also when played loud. I wear them out walking in the gym and sat around and the fit is very good. Only negative I would have are I'm told by Ally in the office they make me look like Shrek.

My first wireless earphones so there may be better although I am a sterio audiophile so think I know about such things. I can't fault these at this price. Base definition is clear smooth and punchy. Hi end, midd range all balance beautifully with the base.

I've had a love/hate relationship with Bose. Mostly love and all of the hate in their pricing. But all the Bose products I've owned have been worth the money. These earbuds are no different. I didn't want to part with $200 for these but I knew they'd fit better than AirPods, so I bought them.

Way better products out there for the money, considerably less even. Battery life and sound quality are outstanding. Connection dropouts multiple times on every use, hard/impossible to get to connect if they've been out of the case and will drain battery rapidly if left out but not playing music.

Read all earlier reviews and was impressed that all the low star ratings had a response from Bose so went ahead with purchase. Thought Bose would have sorted the problem of the buds not talking to each other, they haven't, went through all the advice and still no joy, phoned Bose direct and they did...

Very good. I was not sure before i bought, but once i got them is was impressed. battery life is as stated. after the first couple of days i did not even notice them in when i used them. they st in very well, better than my in ear cabled ones. also easy to use for voice commands etc.
