Borderlands 2 - Review

Borderlands 2 doesn't mess too heavily with the successful formula established by the original back in 2009, delivering another customisation-heavy first-person shooter with the questing structure and customisation options of a role-playing game and a big emphasis on co-operative play.

Markedly improves on the original; Fantastic co-op gameplay; It's lovely to look at

Not quite as satisfying in single player; The story's not exactly riveting; More weapon slots would be nice

Borderlands 2

Back in 2009, Gearbox's space-western Borderlands, a mash up of first-person shooter and role-playing game, turned out to be rather popular despite a barely there story, limited variety between class types and combat, and ultimately rather repetitive gameplay.

I liked Borderlands a lot. I like Borderlands 2 even more. Great cell shaded graphics, awesome gameplay, especially when played with friends. I would recommend it to everyone who loves a First Persion Shooters with RPG elements

Borderlands 2: Headhunter 5 - Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax Review

To be a vault hunter means a life of tough, dirty, bloody work. Mostly bloody, but still, it's a lot of exhausting labor for that precious loot. Naturally, after fighting through a full game and plenty of content packs filled to the brim with rambunctious bandits, enormous monsters, and ambitious,...

Gorgeous new environments to explore; Hilarious narration; Lots of reasons to jump back in and explore

Numbers Game

Laverne and Shirley. Peanut butter and chocolate. First-person shooter (FPS) and role-playing game (RPG). This is how Gearbox Software is hoping the history books look in a few years-thanks, of course, to the generous gifts of its Borderlands game series. Can it be so?

Mopping up a roomful of baddies with a buddy in short order makes you giddy

My low level runthrough gave me +5 Gray Hairs

Returning to fill your pockets and empty rounds is the hyper-addictive Borderlands. Tagged "A new era of shoot and loot", you better believe it, Borderlands 2 is bazillion'd up.

Bigger and Badder version of Borderlands; Enjoyable new and old characters; Fun character classes with endless replay value; Graphical and core gameplay improvements; Little more room for exploration and customization; Hyper addictive loot gathering

Vehicles selection is still limited; Formula can get tiresome in long sittings; Not too much is new; for those wanting more diversity
