More Than Just Hardcore XXX Gun Pr0n.

Hark at this, look: I'm a Borderlands addict. Maybe not as much as you are, you gaming freak, but it's still my favourite FPS. A bold statement, I know, but I'll take the original Borderlands over Half Life or Stalker any day of the week.

Excellent sequel; Massively pretty; Guns are fun

Odd jumping mechanics

Borderlands 2 (Xbox 360) Review

In 2009 2K Games released an unknown IP to the world, and that IP was Borderlands.  It was a game that had been in development since 2007 and there were some major changes about a year prior to the games final release.

Borderlands 2 - Review

Borderlands 2 doesn't mess too heavily with the successful formula established by the original back in 2009, delivering another customisation-heavy first-person shooter with the questing structure and customisation options of a role-playing game and a big emphasis on co-operative play.

Markedly improves on the original; Fantastic co-op gameplay; It's lovely to look at

Not quite as satisfying in single player; The story's not exactly riveting; More weapon slots would be nice

Borderlands 2 Review

In an ideal world, a sequel should build on the original, but still create an experience that's new, yet immediately recognisable. It's a fine balancing act that not many sequels or prequels can achieve.

Colourful cell-shaded graphics; Excellent writing; Incredible voice acting

Lack of a group loot management system; Limited avatar customisation options (cosmetic; Minor graphical issues; Occasional bugs (enemies and boss characters becoming unresponsive

FPS/RPG We need guns.  Lots of guns. As much as we gushed ourselves daft over the original , at least until the frankly terrible DLC spoiled the party, we did always wish for a bit more in the way of variation.

Borderlands 2

Welcome back to Pandora! Borderlands 2 brings you back to your favourite planet to sink yourself in complete shootout mayhem once again. What's the difference? This time it's got more guns, more stuff to shoot at, more quests to complete and more of pretty much everything that you loved about the...

Exhaustive array of guns and loot; Funny dialogues; Engaging locations; Very good multiplayer mode

Campaign is too short

"Even my Fiance' is addicted!"

I love this game! Borderlands is the first game I can honestly say is worth more than what I paid for it. I have gotten more playtime out of it than all of my 30 odd games combined, not kidding!

Borderlands 2

A brilliant sequel to the original! More missions, more guns and an even bigger map! Pure quality. The graphics are crisp and sharp and now it even has an in game day to night cycle. 2K have done a brilliant job! Well worth a rent especially if you enjoyed the first!
