Borderlands 2
Back in 2009, Gearbox's space-western Borderlands, a mash up of first-person shooter and role-playing game, turned out to be rather popular despite a barely there story, limited variety between class types and combat, and ultimately rather repetitive gameplay.

Borderlands 2 - Review
Borderlands 2 doesn't mess too heavily with the successful formula established by the original back in 2009, delivering another customisation-heavy first-person shooter with the questing structure and customisation options of a role-playing game and a big emphasis on co-operative play.
Pros:
- Markedly improves on the original
- Fantastic co-op gameplay
- It's lovely to look at
Cons:
- Not quite as satisfying in single player
- The story's not exactly riveting
- More weapon slots would be nice

For the first Headhunter add-on for Borderlands 2, it's just what I expected. A neat-looking new location, 2 short missions and a boss whose head you can unlock for your character. And... that's pretty much it.

Borderlands 2: Headhunter 5 - Sir Hammerlock vs. the Son of Crawmerax Review
To be a vault hunter means a life of tough, dirty, bloody work. Mostly bloody, but still, it's a lot of exhausting labor for that precious loot. Naturally, after fighting through a full game and plenty of content packs filled to the brim with rambunctious bandits, enormous monsters, and ambitious,...
Pros:
- Gorgeous new environments to explore
- Hilarious narration
- Lots of reasons to jump back in and explore

Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt review – boy's own
The transition from surprise hit to establishment sequel has gone very well for Borderlands. Despite a lack of fundamental changes everyone seems to agree that the second game is a lot better than the first, and that its downloadable content is one of the few times a big name franchise has ever got...
Pros:
- The new levels look good and the side quests and new wildlife are excellent
- More great dialogue and gags, and some of the series' best boss battles
Cons:
- Shorter and less focused than the previous add-ons
- The new human enemies aren't necessarily in poor taste, but they're also not particularly funny

Borderlands 2: Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre
Mad Moxxi and the Wedding Day Massacre, the latest Headhunter Pack DLC for Borderlands 2, is a stark reminder that a solid gameplay foundation only counts for so much. At this point I'm looking for creative variations on the type of content Gearbox has already served up, and Wedding Day Massacre's...
Pros:
- Same Borderlands 2 fun
Cons:
- Lifeless environment
- Boring quests
- Unlikable characters
- No gameplay twists

- Humor runs dry toward the end Some technical hiccups

Borderlands 2 Sir Hammerlock's Big Game Hunt Review
The latest DLC for Borderlands 2 takes the vault hunters to the swampy, dirty, uncivilized continent of Aegrus, where the sophisticated and gentlemanly Sir Hammerlock has invited the player characters on a hunting expedition.
Pros:
- High level
- durable enemies - be ready for a challenge
- Not one
- but two raid bosses
- A new Seraph Vendor and accompanying goodies
Cons:
- Short in duration
- A bit lacking in features
- Frustrating maps

FPS/RPG We need guns. Lots of guns. As much as we gushed ourselves daft over the original , at least until the frankly terrible DLC spoiled the party, we did always wish for a bit more in the way of variation.
