Borderlands 2 isn't a game to be played alone. While it's a perfectly competent single-player experience, to make the most out of this ludicrous role-playing-game-cum-shoot-‘em-up then enlisting an additional three gun-toting maniacs is a fundamental necessity.

Picked this up on steam the other day for a fiver and I'm glad I only paid that much for it because it's very repetitive. It's a loot driven FPS game but in my opinion they've added FAR too much loot.

this is not much of a review I don't know how to review a game all I got to say is that the game is awesome for any shooter fan the story is a bit cliché but lots of action and awesome boss battle

One area I died 8 times because the task was too hard, race here, pick up goods, race here, pick up, race back within time alloted, ohh we forgot to mention - you need a turbo car, tons...

At first glance, Borderlands 2 is just another shooting game with a new art style. Fans of the original title, however, will know the experience is much deeper than that, and those newbies to the series who are willing to take the plunge will be pleasantly surprised by what this humorous FPSRPG has...

Some small glitches

The year is 2009. Gearbox Software , known for Brothers in Arms, releases a zany, satirical FPS/RPG hybrid known as Borderlands . Described as the world's first "shooter looter," Borderlands was a very successful title with an emphasis on cooperative play, and above all, fun.

this game is so awesome in the trailers and your price is so cheap unlike eb games but do you get the slaughter dome dlc if you preorder this also?

Borderlands 2's first downloadable content, Captian Scarlett and her Pirate's Booty is DLC done right. Featuring all-new zones and non-player characters, and providing more content than can be completed in the time it takes to finish many full games, it's exemplary of what we want DLC to be.

Expansive; New outlandish NPCs; New enemy types, and new enemy behaviours; Encapsulated; A ton of new weapons.

It's so long that some later missions do feel like padding

Borderlands was an amazing co-op game that was full of customisation, amazing quests and a strange FPS + RPG style that definitely worked! Borderlands 2 will be a great co-op game with hundreds of hours of fun playing every character, ability and collecting all items.
