It is hard to believe that Arc System Works' Blazblue franchise is already turning a decade old. Even more baffling, it took those ten years for one of the series main entries to arrive on Nintendo hardware.
is like a jigsaw puzzle made of pieces from four entirely different sets, that by some miracle still manage to fit together to make a unique and mesmerizing tag fighting game.
Arc System Works is a master studio at creating 2D fighting games - take even one of their previous games and you'll find gorgeous art, devastating combos, and an unusual accessibility simply not found in other games.
I have conflicted feelings about BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle. When it was first announced , I assumed it was just BlazBlue with some additional characters from Persona 4 Arena, Under Night In-Birth, and RoosterTeeth's RWBY .
