The BlackBerry Torch 9860 eschews the QWERTY keypad of previous BlackBerry generations. Instead, it has a 3.7in touchscreen placed above a set of push buttons and an optical trackpad.

BlackBerry Torch 9860 Review
BlackBerry may have had a bit of a set back lately with the whole "outage" issue but that hasn't really stopped them from pushing the sales of their new products. One of the latest devices to make it out of the Canadian manufacturer's domain is the totally-touchscreen enabled BlackBerry Torch 9860.

BB Torch 9860
I am not happy with this phone. A few wks after using the BB button, back button and end call button started becoming unresponsive. A year has gone by and has become a massive issue for me.

i bought this item hoping to be upgrading to a stylish phone and have a lot of the amenities that other people talk about. when i got this item, it was a disaster. it wont turn onuntil i put it in my computer, and it wont work with the mac i have, so i had to take it to a public computer to activate...

Lacks in UI
My friend has this mobile. I used it. I feel it lacks in interface than Android, Symbian and iOS. Its not user friendly comparing to other touch and type BB phones.

BlackBerry Torch 9860 review
In a world devoid of iOS, Android and Windows Phone this handset would be great. Unfortunately for RIM this isn't the case
Pros:
- Good spec
- decent build quality
- 1.2GHz CPU
- BBM
- Security
Cons:
- Ugly design
- poor camera and video
- lack of applications and games
- BB7 will be defunct in six months time

The new Blackberry 9860 might just break the notion that all Blackberry phones are typical and barely have anything new to offer. The slimmest Blackberry by far has got loads to lure you. It's an OS7 based device packs stunning graphics and easiest possible navigation.

Better than the 9800
I purchased this one to upgrade from the previous model. I liked that it was mainly all touch screen. I prefer Blackberry to other Smartphones, free email, web & back up of all data. More a business phone than a game toy.
