Torch will keep BlackBerry fans happy and satisfied despite a few flaws. When Research In Motion (RIM) launched its first touchscreen phone, Storm, it was not appreciated much by BlackBerry fans. Storm didn't feel like a BlackBerry phone due to its touchscreen.
Pros:
- Display
- Capacitive touch screen
- Voice clarity
- Excellent battery life
- Comfortable QWERTY keypad
Cons:
- Ageing processor
- 4GB on board memory

BlackBerry Torch 9800 Review
When the arrival of the BlackBerry Torch 9800 came knocking, I was pretty much psyched to see if this snazzy new BlackBerry with its Palm Pre form factor ...
Pros:
- Solid construction
- Staple Blackberry features like keyboard, email, call quality, and battery life are still intact
- Found the option of having a tangible keyboard and onscreen one extremely useful as well as sanity pleasing.
Cons:
- Poor camera and video quality
- Display (sigh) is old school
- Device tends to lag at times when processing websites or switching in between tasks

BlackBerry Torch review
When we first tried out the BlackBerry Torch 9800 we were delighted with the new design and the apparent flexibility that the multiple input and on-device navigation options provide. However, the smartphone is a little heftier than we'd like and is rather confusing to get around.

BlackBerry Torch
The BlackBerry Torch, or 9800 for those keeping track of the numbers, brings with it a design we don't see too often in mobile phone handsets - the full QWERTY vertical touchscreen slider. The most notable device of this design in recent times was the Palm Pre which was considerably smaller.
Pros:
- BlackBerry 6 is and improvement
- easy to navigate
- keyboard works well enough
- full keyboard and touchscreen
- browser
Cons:
- Occasional freezes and pauses
- low resolution display
- some movement in the screen
