BlackBerry Torch 9800 review
There is a lot to like about the Torch. The OS is easier to use then previous versions, and the combination of touchscreen and keyboard works well. However, the media playback is too erratic, the camera is too average, it feels slow when browsing and the display resolution is simply inexcusable for...
Pros:
- Improved BlackBerry 6.0 OS
- touchscreen and slide out keyboard combination works well
Cons:
- Low resolution display spoils the experience
- as does the sluggish processor.

BlackBerry Torch Review
It's been a while since I've used a BlackBerry. My first experience was with the BlackBerry 8820 a few years ago. Today, we've got the new BlackBerry Torch 9800 to review, which RIM calls its best BlackBerry phone ever.
Pros:
- + Connects to BlackBerry Servers

BlackBerry Torch 9800
I have an emotional response whenever I write an overview of a new BlackBerry. Part of the reason is because I have been a loyal BlackBerry user for several years, and partly because I have watched as RIM has gone from "Trailblazing" status to playing catch-up to a new market with new benchmarks.

Blackberry Torch 9800 Review
The Blackberry Torch 9800 is RIM's third attempt at a touch screen smartphone and despite its lacklustre predecessors (namely the Storm) this is one that actually works.

BlackBerry Torch review
We've overhauled our BlackBerry Torch review in light of recent firmware upgrades and a big drop in price - from £40 to £30 a month in some cases, and nearly £100 off the SIM free price.

BlackBerry Torch
The BlackBerry Torch, or 9800 for those keeping track of the numbers, brings with it a design we don't see too often in mobile phone handsets - the full QWERTY vertical touchscreen slider. The most notable device of this design in recent times was the Palm Pre which was considerably smaller.
Pros:
- BlackBerry 6 is and improvement
- easy to navigate
- keyboard works well enough
- full keyboard and touchscreen
- browser
Cons:
- Occasional freezes and pauses
- low resolution display
- some movement in the screen

BlackBerry Torch review
When we first tried out the BlackBerry Torch 9800 we were delighted with the new design and the apparent flexibility that the multiple input and on-device navigation options provide. However, the smartphone is a little heftier than we'd like and is rather confusing to get around.

RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800
Microsoft isn't the only company revamping its smartphone operating system this month. RIM has been busy too, engineering a major software update and a new handset to go with it: the BlackBerry Torch.

Blackberry Torch Review
Overview Blackberry's have been ubiquitous with the corporate culture over the last 10-years, clinic from humble beginnings as a glorified two-way pager to a handset that has cornered the email market – the meteoric rise of Blackberry has been impressive.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 – Didn't Quite Light Up Our Lives
Released in India a couple of months after launching in BlackBerry's main North American markets, the BlackBerry Torch 9800 carries too many expectations on its rather broad shoulders.
