Amazing
I have loved the blackberry brand of phones for about 18 months now and I currently have a Curve 8900 on contract, however I will be cancelling it to receive this amazing phone and having tested an early model I can say it meets all expectations!

RIM Blackberry Torch 9800 review
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is probably the best BlackBerry yet and the new OS 6 is one of the major reasons why. Couple this with a hugely responsive touchscreen, comfortable hardware keyboard and all the BlackBerry services you've come to expect and you've got a stunning smartphone.

The road to touch screen perfection has been a long one for RIM. With two lackluster products such as the Storm and Storm2 in its lineup, it was a grim moment for its touch screen offerings. Learning some lessons from its earlier mishaps, the BlackBerry Torch is definitely a turning point.
Pros:
- Vast improvement over earlier BlackBerry Storm and Storm2
- Best of both worlds with touch screen and QWERTY keyboard
- Intuitive BlackBerry 6 OS
Cons:
- Lagging behind in hardware specifications
- Average battery life despite more manageable processor
- Imaging quality appears overly warm

Blackberry Torch 9800 Review
Blackberry Torch 9800 Review First there was nothing. Then there was the Blackberry. Arguably one of the first smartphones, the Blackberry continues to be one of the best-selling cell-phones with a massive fan following all over the world.

BlackBerry Torch 9800 (AT&T)
The new BlackBerry Torch 9800 with BlackBerry 6 keeps RIM in the smartphone game. It's the first truly usable touch screen BlackBerry, and it's packed with new features-a new Web browser, new apps, a new interface, and new social networking hooks. It might even save you money.
Pros:
- Looks and feels good
- Lots of new features
- Integrates social-networking well
Cons:
- Browser still slower than iPhone 4
- Fewer games and apps than iOS or Android
- Poor Microsoft Exchange integration for consumers

BlackBerry Torch 9800 review
While this powerful BlackBerry has an impressive set of features and social networking facilities, its overall style may not be enough to convince Berry fans to replace their Curves, Pearls and Bolds.

Blackberry Torch 9800 review
Great messaging and media, but the retro screen and lack of apps mean it lags behind the smartphone big boys

Editor's Review of the Torch 9800
The BlackBerry Torch is RIM's most innovative smartphone yet, coupling a 3.2-inch high res touchscreen with a slide out QWERTY keypad

BlackBerry Torch review
The Torch is RIM's first touch-screen/slide-out keypad device, and is a marked improvement on its previous touch-screen efforts. Many BlackBerry fans will love the Torch for its mobile browsing and social networking improvements, but it is unlikely to convert fans of touch-screen pioneers like Apple...
Pros:
- Touch screen plus keypad combination
- integrated social and messaging feeds
- swipe functionality
- enhanced security for business users
Cons:
- Bit weighty and bulky compared to similar devices
- low resolution screen
- inferior apps store
