BlackBerry Torch Review
The Blackberry Torch has been launched recently with relatively little fanfare, but signs point to the fact that it has taken the position of "best blackberry ever" from the Bold 9700. The Torch is now available on AT&T's network and other carriers will undoubtedly follow.

BlackBerry Torch Review
The Torch outshines its brethren as the best BlackBerry yet, but still looks dim beside the iPhone and most Android offerings.

- 4GB card pre-installed

BlackBerry Torch 9800 Review
We've been waiting for the BlackBerry Torch 9800 for months now. RIM's double-whammy of new touch-and-QWERTY hardware and the latest iteration of their software, the much-anticipated BlackBerry 6, the Torch promises usability, functionality and all-round appeal on a par with high-end smartphones...

BlackBerry Torch 9800
The BlackBerry Torch is undeniably the best BlackBerry yet. RIM has managed to keep it familiar, yet fresh, to paraphrase their CEO. That should be good enough to hold onto existing BlackBerry users (and there are a lot of you), but we doubt they'll steal many iPhone and Android customers.
Pros:
- Capactivite touch screen
- great hardware QWERTY keyboard
- OS 6.0
Cons:
- In the specs war
- the Torch isn't at the top

BlackBerry Torch 9800 touchscreen QWERTY slider review
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 offers a few firsts for RIM and AT&T. The Torch is RIM's first attempt at a BlackBerry that sports both a full QWERTY keyboard and a touchscreen. It's also the first commercially available BlackBerry that runs the new BlackBerry 6 operating system, which offers a host of...
Pros:
- First class design
- excellent keyboard
- good call quality
- solid camera
- new operating system
Cons:
- Only a day of battery life
- bulky
- stale application selection
- sluggish web browser

BlackBerry Torch 9800 Review by Aaron
The Torch is a decent device that should keep existing BlackBerry users happy, but during my entire review, I couldn't help but notice how underpowered it is in comparison to its competitors. The Torch 9800 is marketed in the same high-end bracket as the EVO 4G, iPhone 4, DROID Incredible , and
Pros:
- Solid build quality
Cons:
- Underpowered processor
- earpiece seems to favor the left ear
- web browser, while much improved, still lags behind other devices on the market

BlackBerry Torch
While the Storm was a bold departure for RIM, the Torch represents a highly refined version of what BlackBerry owners have come to know and love. The welcome but not-too-extreme makeover starts with BlackBerry 6, a new OS that features a modern-looking interface with multiple home screens, a much...
Pros:
- Multiple home screens and notification panel
- Elegant design with physical keyboard
- Sharp and fast 5-MP camera
- Much improved web browser with tabs
- Time-saving Social Feed app
Cons:
- Sluggish at times
- Low-resolution display
- Doesn't support 720p video
- Slower web surfing than iPhone 4

Blackberry Torch 9800
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 is a refreshing smartphone from RIM. It brings you all that makes the BlackBerry so desirable – including BlackBerry Messenger and BlackBerry Desktop Software 6 with integrated media sync – and adds the new BlackBerry 6 OS, a touchscreen and slide-down QWERTY on top.
Pros:
- Full qwerty keyboard
- Email and social media
- Highly customisable
Cons:
- Can be difficult to operate
- Hardware not cutting-edge

RIM BlackBerry Torch 9800 (preview)
The BlackBerry Torch 9800 might be the best BlackBerry ever, but we think at its core it is generally the same as most other BlackBerrys. It possesses an excellent keyboard and great e-mail capabilities, but boasts nothing really new or innovative. The Torch offers little incentive to switch from the iPhone or an Android smartphone, but BlackBerry users will probably find it a compelling upgrade. When you have a product that has been successful for several years, but has fallen somewhat behind the times, it can be difficult to figure out what to change and what to leave alone.
Pros:
- Good keyboard, excellent e-mail, responsive touchscreen, decent build quality, revamped OS, universal search, improved Web browser
Cons:
- Physical design could use an overhaul, large and top-heavy, lack of customisation of app "drawers", UI lacks consistency, lower resolution display than competitors
