Cheap and secure, but still very nice to use
I pre-ordered the DTEK50 as a replacement for my iPhone 6 (which was a temporary replacement for my broken Galaxy S6). I wanted better than your typical Android security and this offers a lot more security-minded features than mentioned in the review.
Pros:
- Form factor
- price
- security
- Hub
- Productivity Tab
- speakers
- display
Cons:
- Battery life is good
- but not quite what I expected from BB

Love Blackberry
Great Phone. Blackberry always impresses me. Its a shame more people do not give them another chance. Love the phone, the security, the video are awesome. It's just the batterie life that's a little weak.

Bought DTek50 from Clove when it came out last year.I agree with other reviewer that Battery life is poor. The size is just right for me ( DTek60 is too large for me).As a former Blackberry OS10 user I like the hub and keyboard.

Excellent, secure, all touch BlackBerry
Great screen, speakers, size, weight, security and build quality. The 3GB RAM and 617 Octocore chip are all one needs to efficiently manage and operate this secure mobile device. The expandable (up to 2TB) micro SD is also welcomed.

DTEK50 cracked screen issue may mean the screen is extremely fragile and may not withstand a drop onto the floor
Up to last week this was the best phone I ever had, then I dropped it from a modest height and the screen cracked. Had I dropped any other mobile phone, I can't image the screen would have shattered like the DTEK50 did. The problem then was to get a replacement screen for my version of DTEK50.

Dtek50 - Works as Designed.
Decent phone for the 300.00 Cad price. Feels great in hand since it is so light and thin. I'm not a heavy user and most of my time is spent using WiFi to check weather, read emails , surfing the Web, watching UTUBE videos and playing the odd game. Battery holds up for me.

Design - Full HD display The BlackBerry DTEK50 has a 5.2" Full HD display, which gives us a resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels (1080p), equating to 424 pixels per inch. The display performs well with True Colour 24-bit colour depth and 16 million colours.

BlackBerry DTEK50 Smartphone Review
With its slightly awkwardly named DTEK50, BlackBerry probably has the most secure Android smartphone at the starting line. The strengthened Android 6.0 Marshmallow runs encrypted, does not permit any code injections, and only launches when the bootloader has not been compromised.
Pros:
- safest Android smartphone
- bright Full HD panel
- LTE
- accurate GPS
- decent speakers
- long battery life
Cons:
- no fingerprint sensor
- just 9 GB of available storage
- abysmal WiFi data rates
- only mediocre cameras
- high temperature development
- incompatible with several benchmarks

The Blackberry Priv was a delight to use- robust, premium and solid, it had what Blackberry were always famous for: the keyboard AND that what people had grown to love: a pure Android operating system.
Pros:
- Blackberry enterprise apps
- Under-£300 price tag
- Incredible security features
Cons:
- No fingerprint scanner
- 16GB onboard storage
- under-average looks |odd setup of keys
