"Probably the best BlackBerry under £200"
I bought this mobile in February 2012, upgrading from the BlackBerry 8520. It has a lovely sleek design and for once the little BlackBerry icon on the rear is NOT just little shiny stickers and will last longer than previous models!
Pros:
- Touchscreen
- music player
- wi-fi
- Camera
- Supports BlackBerry Applications
- instant email access
Cons:
- Batttery life
- no radio

BlackBerry Curve 9380 Review
It seems like there's no stopping RIM from launching new devices. The latest to make it out from the Canadian firm is the 9380. Following in the footsteps of the Torch 9860 , the Curve 9380 is designed to try and offer as much with lower specs and naturally, at a lower price. Here's what we thought.

Great smartphone
Got this on contract with Orange. It did not take me long to set it up. The battery is okay, with all smartphones the battery does not last as long as standard mobiles. Great for documents on the go, you can do documents on it, where as the iPhone you can only view them.

BlackBerry Curve 9380 Review
Curve 9380 Video Walkthrough Filmed live on location at BlackBerry headquarters in Waterloo, Ontario, in this video you'll get a good first look at the touchscreen BlackBerry Curve 9380 as CrackBerry Kevin and the Curve 9380 Product Marketing Manager walk through the phone.
Pros:
- The first touchscreen Curve
- Affordable
- Feels good in the hand
- Looks great - a nice evolution to standard BlackBerry touchscreen design
- JM-1 seems to deliver pretty solid battery life
- BlackBerry 7 features are nice - voice search
- digital compass
- etc
- Like its full qwerty sibling the Curve...
Cons:
- Buttons built into the screen look nice but are a bit hard to press
- No HD video recording or autofocus on the camera
- The super slim volume up/down and convenience key buttons are a little too minimalistic
- Battery door is tricky to get off
- especially if you don't know how to do it
- With 400MHz...

Blackberry has certainly come a long way from the boardroom executive to the eleven year old text-happy kid. In a bid to keep users interested in their devices, Blackberry have come out with the Curve 9380, the latest revision in their more affordable line.

RIM's BlackBerry Curve 9380 makes a nervous entry in the mid-range touchscreen smartphone arena with BlackBerry 7 OS experience. Research In Motion ( RIM ) had introduced a touchscreen smartphone in its Curve series.

- Lighter profile
- Plays majority 720p HD videos smoothly
- Features NFC
Cons:
- Moderate audio
- image output
- No FM Radio

BlackBerry Curve 9380 Review
The BlackBerry Curve 9380 is the entry level full-touch smartphone offered by Research In Motion. When this was first announced in Jakarta, Indonesia, people were surprised because they were probably expecting a full-touch Torch but not a full-touch Curve model.

The BlackBerry Curve 9380 marks somewhat of a milestone for RIM, as it is the company's first device of the supposedly affordable Curve series that comes in a touchscreen-only form.
Pros:
- A full suite of BlackBerry services
- Good call quality
- DivX video playback support
Cons:
- Pricey for the specs
- yet unappealing to the typical BlackBerry user
- Stiff volume rocker and camera keys
- Fixed-focus rear camera and no front-facing cam
