BlackBerry Curve 9360 Reviewed

With all the new BlackBerry mobiles being released lately it was only a matter of time before the Curve line up got a new member. Despite previous cheap builds and lackluster features, the new BlackBerry Curve 9360 has been taking the marketplace by storm.

Speaking of which, the Curve supports a decent set of hardware components, namely the 800MHz CPU and 512MB RAM which is enough to run the BB OS7; the final traditional BB operating system before BBX hits the new handsets next year.

BlackBerry Curve 9360 review

The Curve 9360 features an impressive screen for its size, with the HVGA resolution packed into a 2.44-inch space. It's not massive, and it's sadly not a touchscreen - although we're sure that won't bother people that prefer to use the highly impressive and well-spaced keyboard.
Pros:
  • Sleek design
  • Slick keyboard
  • Budget option
  • Has NFC
Cons:
  • Average camera
  • Slower processor
  • Video not much cop

Great size, with BB quality and durability

I love BB's!! This is my 3rd, and since I'm not a huge smartphone fan, this is a great middle-ground. This phone can withstand a lot. They are sturdy, durable just as every BB I've owned. I love the size, weight and details of the physical phone itself.
Pros:
  • Size
  • features and options
  • durable
Cons:
  • Camera is poor
  • confusing home screen finding apps/features

Ignore that it's running on a 'dated' OS and has a small non-touchscreen. BlackBerry OS 7 is still quite a workhorse, and the optical trackpad makes up for the latter: the upside being you can hold this phone all over without worrying about 'accidental presses'.

BlackBerry Curve 9360 review

RIM's BlackBerry Curve 9360 is the latest model running OS 7 along with the BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9810 and Torch 9860, from the Canadian company. With a sleek body, sharp screen and a decent camera plus a lower price to boot - will the new Curve still appeal to the budget brigade?
Pros:
  • Sleek design
  • Slick keyboard

The blackberry 9360 is a beautiful phone with an above average battery life. Since when i first got the phone i hv not had much reasons to complain. It slim, portable, nice screen. I dnt know why ppl are complaining about the phone's battery life.

For those who hate touch screen. Buy before gone!

If you hate touch screen and don't do gaming movies etc etc. This is a quality item. You can do a bit of Internet stuff if you need too. Very good size for the handbag persons. Get them while you can!
