BlackBerry Bold 9780 review
We review the BlackBerry Bold 9780 - the latest edition to RIM's Bold series, but does the Bold 9780 have what it takes to usurp the hugely popular Bold 9700?
Pros:
- Good camera
- decent Qwerty keyboard
- 32GB of storage
- solid build quality
Cons:
- Far too similar to the Bold 9700 - it's essentially the same device

RIM BlackBerry Bold 9780 (T-Mobile)
The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is boring, but in a good way. It's a smartphone of simple pleasures: clear calls, solid syncing, and sharp Web pages. It fits in your pocket well and you won't need to charge it too often. It makes the cut for our list of Phones With the Best Battery Life .

BlackBerry Bold 9780 review
After using the Bold 9780 for a while though, it's clear that this is a minor update. Very welcome, but unlikely to have Bold 9700 users rushing to break their contracts. With the exception of a dark ring around the edge the handset looks virtually identical to the previous Bold and that's about it.

RIM takes the Bold and makes it even better, but there isn't much on offer for upgraders

BlackBerry Bold 9780 (T-Mobile) review
We recently received the BlackBerry Bold 9780 from T-Mobile, which is an update of the original Bold 9700 that features the new BlackBerry 6 smartphone operating system and a 5 megapixel camera.

9780 w/ OS 6
Have this phone for few days and see a lot of improvements compare to my old 9700 PROS: - web browser is great and faster then on my old 9700 - feel like better voice quality and less drop calls. - very good battery life. - new OS is a big improvement. - new 5 mega-pixel camera.

Internally, there is a new CPU, however it's running at the same 624MHz that the older Bold 9700 was running at. RIM has upgraded the amount of internal flash memory from 256MB to 512MB.

The BlackBerry Bold 9780 is a lovely device that boasts a fine collection of features; it's just a shame that the OS does not really suit the handset.

the best phone ever
this is the best phone for me becouse i hate the iphone and the phone overall is awesome i text a lot and use the browser im a big music fan and the phone has a 3.5 mm jack it has facebook twitter and youtube wich i love and overall is a fantastic phone

BlackBerry Bold 9780
The Bold 9780's key new feature is OS 6, as many of its specifications are unchanged from the 9700 model. We'd have preferred a faster processor, but the ever-excellent mini-keyboard should be a winner for mobile email fans.
Pros:

- neat and pocket friendly
- Superb mini-QWERTY keyboard
- BlackBerry OS 6 offers lots of attractive features
- 5 megapixel camera
- Good battery life
Cons:
- Side mounted 3.5mm headset slot
- Screen is too small for efficient web browsing
- Processor could be faster
- Only 512MB of internal memory
