Pros: *We have plush carpet and a rough coat collie (lassie dog) who drops long hair and fluff in bulk as well as a fox terrier which drops lots of short hair. The turbo brush roll picks it all up with absolutely no tangles!! *The vacuum picks up a lot more dust out of the carpet than our previous vacuum. *Very easy to empty. *Has a nice long power cord. *Push button to transfer from carpets to hard floors. Cons: *Is quite heavy and the brush roll is quite bulky *Our bedroom carpets are slightly different quality and length than the rest of the house. If you are using the auto setting and try to vacuum the bedroom carpets, the vacuum will cut out, needing to be turned off at the wall to "reset". Must use on the low setting on these carpets.

Following the item on "Cafe", I was keen to try the non-tangling aspect of this... but the non-tangle head is huge and heavy, and on first run didn't seem to pick stuff up well. It's not getting the carpet tassle threads that my dog chews and leaves lying around... particularly why I wanted the no-tangle thing!The second head is much lighter and easier to use, but seems wasteful to not use the main component. I'm going to see if I can return it all.

I previously had a Dyson Big Ball which bit the dust recently. I thought that machine was handling the masses of pet hair around my house just fine until I got this bad boy home. The motorised head pulled out so much pet hair from the carpets that had clearly been there for years, and the brush doesn't tangle... Which is one huge headache eliminated for me. Fantastic vacuum!

I have the carpet cleaner and that is amazing! So I thought this vacuum should be the same!! It certainly didn’t disappoint.

First Bissell vacuum I've owned, I bought it based on price and feedback. I like that it is bagless. My prior vacuum cleaner required bags which became harder to find the older it got. At the end, I was ordering them online. The Bissell addresses the benefits of the bag and cleans much better. I read two negative reviews, one on the length of handle and the second that it sucks too much. I have no idea why either of these could be perceived as an issue. Summing up, good value for money, very happy with the purchase.
