BioShock Infinite Review (XBOX 360/PS3/PC)

BioShock Infinite has had a bumpy road to release. Every step Irrational Games took to get to us BioShock Infinite was worth it. The game takes place in an alternate 1912 where a floating city called Columbia is front and centre.

The world created by Ken Levine and his team is mind-blowing beautiful; The art comes alive in the streets of Columbia, and everything is colourful it is hard not to stop and look around in awe of what district you are in Columbia, and what you are witnessing.

Worth The Wait

Worth the wait -- for those who haven't managed to fire up the original game, do yourselves a favor and get the original first. And do yourselves yet another favor once you've completed the first game and skip the sequel and go right into Infinite.

The Bioshock franchise -- the original and the sequel -- were stories of great and awful, sort of like the first two Halloween films and the third film, which was awful; The first Bioshock was incredible and a game-changer.

None, really; My only real issue was the "video margins" -- it's not entirely clear how the lines bounding the vertical and horizontal axes should appear or should be adjusted, but the truth is you tinker a bit and then continue through the game.

A Tale of Constants and Variables: Bioshock Infinite

It would have been easy for Irrational Games to make a new installment in the Bioshock series that simply rehashed what they'd already done. The underwater city of Rapture, in ruins and populated with Little Sisters and Big Daddies, was a great locale – unique, visually intriguing, and a prime...

Amazing story; interesting characters

Texture pop-in; too much combat in the game's latter stages

Absolutely Incredible

It has been just over 2 years since I first bought my xbox, and this game along with it. Since then I have played dozens of games, and let me say that choosing this game as my first was a mistake.

Stunning Masterpiece

Amazing detail, storyline, gameplay, and story line. The game showcases the love Ken Levine and 2K has for their creation.

Bioshock Infinite

I waited to finish the whole game on PC before writing a review as I am quite a fan of the first 2 Bioshock games. I played with a 360 Controller and it worked beautifully, so this review applies to the Xbox version as well.

Fantastic Game!

The detail that was put into this game is impressive; everything from the graphics to the game play is well done. Each enemy has a unique set of strengths and weaknesses that allow the player to use different strategies in the game.

Bioshock Infinite Review

Bioshock Infinite has been highly anticipated since it was first teased. It takes the setting of the original games and raises expectation massively. A wildly different setting as the game moves from Rapture, deep under the ocean, to Columbia way up in the clouds.

"Dark Skies"

It's been a long wait for the third installment in the Bioshock franchise, and after the critical acclaim heaped on the first two games, hype was appropriately sky-high. Before dicussing whether that clamour was justified, however, a caveat is called for - contrary to much of what you might have...

Beautiful visuals; skillful characterisation; epic storytelling

Slightly limited gunplay
