Beautiful visuals; skillful characterisation; epic storytelling

Good game. I enjoyed playing all the Bioshock games and even though each one is completely different, they're somewhat all very similar. Can get repetitive but still a great game with creative game play and awesome graphics!

After the disappointing Bioshock 2 the franchise needed to redeem itself and this game does just that. The gameplay is challenging enough to keep you engaged however it has limited replay value. The numerous character abilities you get lets you approach combat in a non linear way.

Very few games will ever be able to compete with the opening to the original Bioshock as you enter the underwater city of Rapture and, while Columbia is certainly spectacular, it just doesn't inspire the same sense of awe.

There is no question the original BioShock game was a spectacular achievement in visual design, story-telling and gameplay. It all comes back to the story. This is a story driven game and all its twists and turns keep you playing and wanting to discover more. The superb voice acting and intelligent plot more than makes up for what it lacks in length and challenge.

- Decisions are meaningless - Not a lot of replay value - Too easy past first playthrough - Most Vigors aren't that good

The story in this game was weak and gameplay repetitive. The high point of the game is the violence and stupidity but overall I was very disappointed. I do not recommend this game
