Beyerdynamic Xelento Wireless

Beyerdynamic Xelento Remote In-Ear Headphones

It's a stunningly beautiful design: The Beyerdynamic Xelento Remotes are most definitely a looker. Better yet, their ergonomically balanced design made for a perfect fit in the concha of my ears; these are some of the most comfortable in-ears I've ever worn. As for the sound, it was spectacular!

Handmade in Germany; Stunning good looks; Best-in-class sound

beyerdynamic Xelento remote

I mentioned this already in one of my previous reviews, design of single dynamic driver flagships feels like a lost art. While single DD iems and earbuds are among the most common budget earphones, not too many manufacturers can pull a true single DD flagship design.

Meet the world's most expensive in-ear Bluetooth headphone

Audiophiles tend to prefer to listen to wired headphones, but they might make an exception for Beyerdynamic's upcoming Xelento Wireless, which will retail for $1,200 (£1,000) when it's released later this year. That converts into about AU$1,625.

Beyerdynamic bills its upcoming Xelento Wireless as "the first wireless in-ear headphone for audiophiles." It ain't cheap.
