we ordered Benq Tk800 and waited for nearly 35days to get shipped as it was out of stock during Christmas season . once we recevied the projector we were very much satisfied with the picture quality after 1days we had an issue with the internal speaker so called the customer service they said they...
This is indeed an excellent 4K HDR projector, especially considering the price tag. I'm using this to project onto a 120" screen from about 4.30m. I've been using this for over a month and absolutely love it.
I am updating this review. I am a new owner and must purchased the BenQtk800 so far so good . The projector is bright so I could watch it with lights on, I have a 109 "diagonal and picture quality is amazing . My projector is 13ft away .
Very good 4k projector with price
We can't deny that projectors have greatly slacked behind from an output-resolution outlook. Here, the technology of LCD TV's has also left things lower than 1080p and projectors have obviously struggled to keep up with the pace of the 4K revolution.
Out of the box it's a great living room projector for sports finals ............ spend some time to calibrate it's colours and ..... BOOM it becomes a cinematic wonder of colour fidelity and accurate skin tones for movie night.
I bought this to replace an 8 year projector and i couldn't believe how crisp and clear it is. 10/10 great projector
This BenQ TK800 offers a whole lot of value, and at the moment, may well be the least expensive 4K content capable projector on the market. Well, of course price wise, it is tied with its not quite identical twin, the HT2550.
4K UHD resolution of 1920x1080x4 with pixel shifting; 4K content capable; Supports HDR for expanded dynamic range – more "pop"; Picture quality right out of the box; better than most; Fastest color wheel – means virtually no RBE – rainbow effect for most of those who are sensitive; RGBW color wheel...
Could definitely be brighter for handling HDR (like most projectors; Only offers basic placement flexibility; with 1.2:1 zoom and no lens shift; No CFI for smooth motion on sports and other HDTV; Of course the small 5 watt speaker is no substitute for a real sound system; And; 5 watt speaker is side...
I've already looked at models from BenQ and ViewSonic and today, I'm checking out BenQ's TK800. It uses Texas Instruments' .47" quad-shift DLP chip to deliver 3840×2160 resolution, HDR10, and 3000 ANSI lumens. It's an ideal high-res, high-output solution for media rooms with ambient light.
A mechanical auto-iris for better contrast; Wider color gamut for Ultra HD content; Automatic mode-switching between SDR and HDR
Phenomenal clarity; Accurate color; Great contrast in HDR mode; Calibration flexibility with easy and precise adjustments
