This my 2nd BenQ. I also own a 1080p from BenQ which I really liked. This is an upgrade into 4k. While the picture is vibrant and sharp there few things I was expecting since I already own another. The throw distance is longer than usual so it needs resdjustement of your mount if you are upgrading.

BenQ TK800 4K DLP Projector

single-chip DLP projector which is being marketed as a home entertainment and sports model.

Sharp images and faux 4K 8.3 m pixel image resolution; Good motion handling; Bright enough for use in normal living room settings; Works to the design...

Mediocre contrast and black levels for dark room use; Light edge around image; Out of the box settings not accurate enough to Rec.709; Noisy even in...

BenQ TK800M Projector TK800M review

The BenQ TK800M gives you good 4K performance, but it still can't beat a TV for the price.

I like what I see

Great projector with fantastic picture quality, colours and brightness - 4 stars because of heat output and some glitching in the image *might have a faulty unit, not sure yet. This is my first ever projector and I must say, coming from a 49 inch TV, this is a huge step up.

BenQ TK800 Projector review

The BenQ TK800 offers 4K projecting on a budget for home cinema enthusiasts. Using the Texas Instruments 0.47-inch DMD with XPR pixel shifting, it manages to make a native 1080p projector deliver more details, 3D and HDR at an affordable price.

BenQ TK800M Projector TK800M review

If you’re a sports fanatic or looking to set up a projector in a relatively bright room, the BenQ TK800M is an excellent choice — if you have the room to set it up for the proper distance.

Bright display, 4K HDR, Decent contrast ratio, 96% Rec.709 coverage, Very reasonably priced

Mediocre sound at best, Fan can be a tad loud at times, Occasionally takes a bit to switch to HDR mode, Light "shadow border", Has a relatively long throw distance, No lens shift

BenQ TK800 Review

We've seen the price of near-cinema quality projectors dip considerably in recent years, affording those of us without astronomical budgets the opportunity to transform our living rooms into ticketless theaters, all for around the same price as a high-end TV.

3,000 lumens of brightness; Gorgeous color accuracy in cinema mode; Solid HDR performance; Great value

Color can be blown out at highest brightness

BenQ TK800 4K HDR projector review

The wave of affordable 4K projectors just keeps on coming – I now find myself lapping up an impressively talented 4K (and HDR) projector from BenQ that costs just £1,200. And 3D fans will be ecstatic to learn that, unusually in today's projector and TV world, the TK800 supports 3D playback, making...

BenQ TK800 review

When it comes to big screen entertainment, nothing delivers more bang for your buck than a projector. Unfortunately, though, most people haven't adopted projectors quite in the same way that they have with TVs - whether that's because they're scared about setup, concerned about performance or...

Sharp 4K and HDR images; Big; bright; colorful picture; Excellent motion handing; Good input lag for gaming; Cracking price

Poor black and shadow detail; Light spillage; Noisy even in Eco mode; Color wheel can result in rainbows

BenQ TK800M Projector TK800M review

The TK800M is marketed as a “sports” projector that is sacrificing color accuracy for better brightness but this doesn’t mean that it cannot be used in a home theater or home cinema room.

Amazing 4K picture quality for pixel shifting, Improved lens and imaging DLP chip, Better 3D compatibility and auto switch, Excellent price for a 4K projector

Black levels are very average, Still no wide color gamut support, Lower zoom and throw ratio from previous model, No CFI for smooth motion
