BenQ GS2 Portable Projector GS2 review

The BenQ GS2 projector is attractive and highly portable, and offers a suprisingly accurate image with enough light output for a cozy nighttime backyard movie.

Highly portable, splash-proof, and drop-proof design, Good light output and color accuracy for its product class, WiFi and Bluetooth wireless built in

Some playback limitations when streaming content apps via iOS and Android devices, Aptoide TV interface is frustrating to use

Great Small Projector

Recently brought this projector for my kids when we go camping. We used it twice over the school holidays and kids had a great time. I would have liked if it was a little brighter, but the kids didn't seem to notice.

Bad projector for the price

I purchased this projector around Christmas time and it sucks. For the price there are much better options at jb hi-fi, the range is far better there. The projector has a very dull bulb with not much colour, the key features are how it’s portable. YouTube and Netflix doesn’t work and the wifi it it is bad. There are not many settings for this projector and there is no zoom feature. The only good thing about this projector it the auto focus feature.

BenQ GS2 Portable Projector GS2 review

The BenQ GS2 gets enough right—image quality, water resistance, easy setup—to make it worth considering. But disappointing onboard audio and flawed built-in streaming keep it from being a slam-dunk pick for a portable entertainment projector.

Auto-focus and auto-keystone, Built-in three-hour battery, Built-in streaming and screen mirroring, IPX2 water resistance rating (light rain)

Onboard audio volume is low, Brightness drops significantly when using battery power, USB port won't power all streaming sticks

BenQ GS2 Portable Projector review

Better than some portable projectors by having a USB-C connection. But the lack of a credible and working application store for the inbuilt Android blights yet another portable projector.

Doubles as a Bluetooth speaker; Android-based; Splash resistant;

Aptoide Tv; Only 720p native resolution; No Google Play Store access; Limited brightness
