It seems to work well, the colour is good, no dead pixels, brightness is good, sound is 'ok' (though I have an issue with a game that loses sound if the monitor powers off (sleep) then comes back on - no sound. I 'suspect it's the game and not the monitor - so not pointing the finger).

Review: The BenQ EL2870U monitor is an inexpensive gateway into 4K & desktop HDR

Thunderbolt displays are great and incredibly flexible, but are generally overkill for users just looking for 4K. Ostensibly aimed at gamers, the BenQ EL2870U 4K display is an affordable 4K display with good video connectivity options.

If your gaming your better off with a 1440p 144hrz monitor, if you want something for productivity than you should get something with a better panel. if your playing on a console than 90% of the time you will have to upscale a lower resolutio to the monitor which looks horrible on this monitor

While 4K gaming on the PC is still a bit of a niche, the ever-increasing power of gaming graphics cards and the steady decline of display pricing makes jumping into the resolution of 3840x2160 easier than it's ever been.

Very sharp picture; Understated looks; Low input lag; FreeSync-compatible / G-Sync-compatible

Advertised HDR support is worthless; Poor contrast; Dark scene uniformity is unsatisfactory

Bought it for my PS4 Pro

Supports everything I need for my PS4 Pro HDR 10 4K 60 FPS 1ms response time The HDR hotkey on the right corner side is very useful when I need to turn the HDR function on / off.

When it comes to monitors, the choices at disposal of buyers tend to bifurcate into two classes. One category is aimed at productivity where characteristics like high pixel density, bit depth, and colour accuracy are of prime importance, while the second class is for entertainment purpose like...

Affordably price for a 4K HDR monitor; Low response time; AMD FreeSync support; Good colour reproduction; Decent build quality

Limitations with HDR output; Sub-par viewing angles; Low brightness and contrast; Disappointing brightness uniformity; Poor sound output from speakers

BenQ EL2870U 28 4K HDR FreeSync Monitor Review

BenQ well known for their professional gaming monitors, but not all of us are serious gamers and want something that offers superior multitasking and media consumption, but also can play casual games without a hitch.

BenQ EL2870U Quick Review: Value 4K HDR Monitor for Media Consumption

If you have been following the 4K HDR monitor market, you'd know that most models were well out of reach of the average buyer, with prices well above the Rs. 50,000 mark. This has also made 4K content less accessible unless you had deep pockets..

Affordable; HDR Compatible; FreeSync Support; Decent Build Quality; Reduced Blue Light Emissions

60Hz Refresh Rate; Low Native Contrast; Bad HDR Performance; Limited Connectivity Options; Poor Audio Quality

Awesome product for xbox one x

This is my first monitor for playing on the Xbox one x and it does not disappoint. Graphics are great and the hdr is easily adjustable. I love the eye savor mode, I can game over 12 hrs a day some sessions and my eyes aren't strained as with my old television.
