BenQ LCD works great with Surface Pro 4 - Keep Out of Sleep Mode

I have been using the BenQ PD2700Q as my only monitor with a Surface Pro 4 with MS Docking Station. The main purpose for the monitor was for software development using Visual Studio. The Surface Pro 4 display setting are set to 125% Scaling, Landscape, Duplicate the display.

BenQ PD2700Q review: a sensible monitor for creatives

Today we're looking at not a designer monitor, but a monitor for designers: the PD2700Q. It comes with a 27-inch 10-bit IPS panel with a 2560 by 1440 resolution, at a reasonable £330 price point. Let's put it to the test and see how it performs!

I'm not a graphic designer or a gamer: I bought this monitor mainly for browsing and programming. And it is absolutely gorgeous. Text is retina-crisp; photos look amazing. I am using it with a 2015 Macbook Pro. In the native resolution of "retina 1920x1080" I find that text is a bit too large.

Seems excellent so far

Had it recommended by an IT person and it has been great, plugged straight into my older HP desktop box DP port and worked

I've ordered 2 of these monitors now and both have had obvious dead pixels right out of the box. Picture quality and build are both great but I've been put out of work for days and have over $1100 tied up in returns with nothing to show for it.

Wanted it to be a great monitor

I bought this monitor a month ago and was really hoping to have no issues. I never bought a non-brand name monitor in which name I don't recognize (Acer, Dell, etc.) so I knew I was taking a chance but it has good reviews in some of the places I looked at.
