Its very easy to use and set up, but like I said dont let the fancy case fool you. The Behringer B1 comes in like a fancy brief case type of a case and it looks like its serious business but its really less than average and I say save up your money for something worth it.

I've been doing broadcast voiceovers since 1968. I bought my first B-1 about 7 years ago strictly for voiceover work and it quickly became one of my favorite voiceover microphones for soft spoken word recording.

I only had a Nady, a Radio Shack microphone and a Shure SM 57 so it seemed quite an improvement. I use it with a Yamaha mixer with phantom power. I now have a Rode K2 which costs almost 7 times as much and the Rode sounds a bit better, but not 7 times as much.
