BeatsX review: BeatsX wraps AirPods tech in a neckband-style headphone for less
The slickly designed BeatsX is an appealing neckband-style wireless headphone that offers a lot of the "magic" of Apple's AirPods in a more conventional, sports-friendly design. Like 'em or hate 'em, Apple's AirPods have been the talk of the headphone world ever since they were announced alongside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus back in September 2016. But there's another Apple wireless headphone from the company's Beats by Dre subsidiary that's also received its share of buzz: The BeatsX ($150, £130, AU$200). And like the AirPods, the BeatsX was also delayed, but it's officially available as of February 10.- The BeatsX is a comfortable, lightweight, water-resistant, neckband-style Bluetooth headphone with a secure in-ear fit and good sound quality
- It pairs instantly with Apple devices, rolls up to fit in an included carrying case, and charges quickly via Lightning, not MicroUSB.
- Slight treble push
- cords may seem a bit long for some users.
Review: Beats Powerbeats3 Wireless
Whether you love ‘em or loathe ‘em, Dr. Dre's eponymous headphones are everywhere, from the treadmill to the weights bench. Even I joined the Beats brigade, picking up a pair of Powerbeats2 wireless in-ears under the (misguided) belief that they'd get me exercising more.
Review: Powerbeats3 with Apple W1 chip are the most reliable Bluetooth headphones we've ever used
Bluetooth audio-?especially when exercising-?has always been "good enough,"has always been "good enough," but never great. Apple's W1 chip in its latest headphones lineup changes that, and the proprietary wireless technology steals the show in its new sports-focused Powerbeats3 headphones.- Beats
- bluetooth
- headphones
- W1
- Powerbeats3
The BeatsX earphones offers all-day comfort as well as impressive sound and a battery that will last all day.
Beats Powerbeats3 Wireless Headphones Review
The Beats Powerbeats3 have largely the same look as the Powerbeats2 but do have a little bit of an improvement to fit and some performance upgrades as well. Obviously being a Beats product, the price is a little high although we have seen the price drop as of late.- Great battery life
- Fit is very secure
- Fast fuel charging (5 min = 2 hours
- Strong Bluetooth stability
- Water and sweat resistant
- Expensive
- Don't completely seal off ear canal
- Wind noise due to design
Beats Powerbeats3 Wireless review
I've spent ages searching for the perfect sports earphones, but always came up short. Whether it's ill-fitting earbuds, wireless dropouts, or multiple device woes, there's always some sort of letdown.- Apple W1 chipset boosts range and battery life
- Great performance
- Comfortable fit
- Micro-USB charging
- You'll need an iPhone 7 to get the best from it
Longer battery life
Not beats fault - I like the product. Bought these for longer battery life. Apple bought beats, then forced everyone with iPhone 7 to use Bluetooth headphones. Not a coincidence- For iPhone 7 work well for telephone purposes
- Great sound for music
- You need them for iPhone 7
Very nice

Beats X and iPhone works flawlessly.
I've been looking for a good set of bluetooth wireless ear buds and these are the best i've tried so far. I have tried the Powerbeats 3 and the Bose Soundsports and these little gems just blow them away.
