BeatsX is a wireless earphone powered by Apple's W1 chip, which allows for pairing with devices running iOS 10 like the iPhone.
The Fast Charge technology enables speedy charging. A full charge of the battery that gives 8 hours of playback only takes 45 minutes.
BeatsX supports Bluetooth, which means that you can use the earphone to take incoming calls. It's available in black and white coulours.

Whether you love ‘em or loathe ‘em, Dr. Dre's eponymous headphones are everywhere, from the treadmill to the weights bench. Even I joined the Beats brigade, picking up a pair of Powerbeats2 wireless in-ears under the (misguided) belief that they'd get me exercising more.

The slickly designed BeatsX is an appealing neckband-style wireless headphone that offers a lot of the "magic" of Apple's AirPods in a more conventional, sports-friendly design. Like 'em or hate 'em, Apple's AirPods have been the talk of the headphone world ever since they were announced alongside the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus back in September 2016. But there's another Apple wireless headphone from the company's Beats by Dre subsidiary that's also received its share of buzz: The BeatsX ($150, £130, AU$200). And like the AirPods, the BeatsX was also delayed, but it's officially available as of February 10.

The Beats by Dre BeatsX headphones deliver more than just a slick design, premium workmanship and first-rate aesthetics. These in-ears in fact seem a lot closer in technical function and capability to Apple's new AirPods, rather than their own Beats brothers.

In addition to the buds that jam into your ear canals, the Powerbeats3 have big adjustable hooks on both sides that wrap over your ear to keep everything secure. As a result, they're the most stable, comfortable wireless headphones I've ever tried. I can wear them all day without pain.

The Beats X headphones offer all the cool connectivity functionality of the Apple AirPods in a more conventional form factor.
Pros:
- Big bass as you'd expect
- Comfortable fit with multiple tips
- Quick charge feature is great
- W1 chip connectivity is super easy
- Bluetooth range is great
Cons:
- Awkward fit with shirt collar
- Lightning charger means Apple focus
- Bass might drown things
- Magnetised fit out of ear doesn't stop the music

Beats X: the best neckband earphones money can buy
Super neckband headphones - but if you want to run then get some Powerbeats instead.
Pros:
- Super sound quality
- W1 pairing is ace
- They don't tangle
Cons:
- The neckband bounces around everywhere
