Bayonetta 2 is a relentlessly entertaining ride from start to finish, with pacing meticulously designed to wring every last drop of adrenaline out of you before reigning things in with a quiet, humorous aside.

It's been four years since Bayonetta came out, and given how much of a veritable romp it was – it was hard to believe that Platinum could ever top what they did with the game. Further titles they put out, including Metal Gear Rising and Wonderful 101, managed to do just as good a job, if not better...

I bought the Wii U specifically for this game because it was an exclusive Bayonetta is a great addition to the hack and slash game genre and the characters are great and deep.

This game is everything I hoped it would be and so much more. It's not just more Bayonetta, which would have been fine, it is more like an expansion on the universe that Bayonetta exists in. It makes Bayonetta seem like the preview to this game.

It took us all of 30 seconds to realise that Bayonetta's world is as crazy as it's ever been. We're battling winged centaurs atop a jet plane as it roars through a city as flocks of bloodthirsty angels fly nearby.

If there's one thing the Wii U does well, it's the number of exclusive games it has compared to the PS4 and Xbox One . Its sales may not be a great success story, but at a time when both of its rivals are struggling to stand out from one another, the Wii U is streets ahead when it comes to providing...

Flawless Victory: Games rated 10 aren't perfect, since nothing is, but they come as close as you could get in a given genre. The new must-have game in its sector, we're talking pure ecstasy.

A very "stupid", but fun action game that's at the top of it's class. And there's nothing wrong with being stupid.

I haven't played a game that I have enjoyed this much since I was a young kid at the age of 8 playing Lylat wars when that first released back on n64. Bayonetta 2 bought me back to my childhood of staying up late and playing video games to wee morning.
