I've seen the first Bayonetta every once in a while when shopping for video games, but I never had a chance to play it because I did not own a PS3. So when Bayonetta 2 came out on Wii U I was very happy to finally get a chance to try the sequel.
" Bayonetta 2 " is the sequel everyone expected: a confident re-introduction to one of gaming's coolest heroines. It's upbeat, intense and constantly climactic without ever giving a second for the player to be bored.
Bayonetta 2 is a relentlessly entertaining ride from start to finish, with pacing meticulously designed to wring every last drop of adrenaline out of you before reigning things in with a quiet, humorous aside.
It's a Platinum Game first off, so don't expect any semblance of a cohesive story. Yet Bayonetta 2's story is increasingly better than the first one, mainly due to charming roster of characters previous players have grown to like.

Its sales may not be a great success story, but at a time when both of its rivals are struggling to stand out from one another, the Wii U is streets ahead when it comes to providing...
Bayonetta 2 has been surrounded by controversy from the start – first over its Wii U exclusivity, then over its sexual content. But is the game itself any good? James Burnett has the answer.
Smooth, well-balanced, and satisfying combat; Dazzling sound, visuals, and scale; Quite amusing
The story is very silly
A very "stupid", but fun action game that's at the top of it's class. And there's nothing wrong with being stupid.
