There is no shortage of online destinations for those who enjoy first-person gun-wielding combat, but no matter how many opportunities you get to shoot another player in the face, there is always room for one more.

Getting delayed can often times mean a death sentence for a game, the hype dies down, people look else where for their fix. Battlefield's move back to releasing this week was either due to the developer needing more time or EA deciding that they might prefer to avoid going head to head against MW2.

Bad Company 2 is a great single player experience, but a near Godly multiplayer one. A must play for shooter fans, especially in the PC community.

After such a po-faced depiction of war and terror in the first game, by the time Modern Warfare 2 was halfway through it was clearly taking a run up to jump...

Massive maps and vehicles give this game a completely different slant to other first-person shooters and make it great fun.

Gripping the barrel of my M16A2 firmly, I move slowly through the wreckage of a South American dockside rail depot. The roof is all but gone, and the railway tracks are barely visible beneath the piles of rubble.
