Several games in one!

I've had this since it came out. It has a half dozen or so plot lines, each with a different angle toward WWI, and each with its own characters. All lots of fun, except the lead-in one which was mostly just a movie. Its characters are the one on the cover, which is quite odd.

Dice have done it again!

Call of Duty fans everywhere were screaming at Activision to go back to it's roots and do World War 1 or World War 2, but did they listen? No they just went back to milking the already dry and dead cash cow, but DICE, it's biggest competitor, listened and listened well.

Battlefield 1 Review

Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war.

Single player is excellent; One of the best looking games this gen; Music is stunning and moving; Multiplayer is lots of fun

Some slight frame rate dips on multiplayer

Battlefield 1 Review

The newest instalment of the Battlefield franchise heads back to a time period that needs more attention, The First World War. When the game was first announced I was worried that the developers would gloss over the horrors of the war but I am glad to say that this is not the case.

World War I was one of the most brutal conflicts in all of human history. In describing the battlefield for his audience, Hardcore History host Dan Carlin likened it to Mordor. So in bringing the war to end all wars to mainstream gaming, it's only appropriate that Battlefield 1 should start out by...

Battlefield 1 review: warfare has never looked so good

But saying that, warfare has never looked so good. Battlefield 1 is brutally beautiful, even if you're just admiring the emotional power of a shelled-to-shit landscape that was once a picturesque village.

Battlefield 1: They Shall Not Pass DLC Review

Battlefield 1 – The (singleplayer) Verdict

When EA first announced Battlefield 1 , I had concerns over how they were portraying the Great War. I wasn't the only one who expressed misgivings, and others have put forth their opinion in the past week.
