Battleborn : I would like to start off by saying how excited I was to play this game. I got in to the Borderlands games when they first came out and achieved a platinum trophy on both Borderlands 1 and 2. As well as that, I then rebought the games for the PS4.

Battleborn is one of developer Gearbox Software's biggest investments of time and money ever. Packed with heroes and powered by the mechanics of a first-person shooter, Battleborn is an amalgam of a number of different sorts of shooters pulled together with the art style and humor of a Borderlands...

There may be a good game buried under Gearbox Software's first attempt at a MOBA (multiplayer online battle arena), but as the title Battleborn implies, too many of its systems are developmentally in their infancy.

Although certainly not without its flaws, Battleborn is a solid foundation for Gearbox to build upon in the upcoming months.

That's about all I can say about it. If that feels like an unfair review, it's because Battleborn doesn't really do anything well. It's a game that many people will likely enjoy, but a game devoid of soul.

Great game from the people that made borderlands games. Its great fun for single player and multiplayer gamers, 25 playable character's and no tow are the same. Choose a battleborn and play single or with 4 other players. Story is not as strong as borderlands. Good play till borderlands 3 comes out.

There has been multiple times where similar concepts in video games have been released within a very close time frame. Does anyone remember Second Sight and Psi-Ops: The Mindgate Conspiracy? Or Infamous and Prototype ?

Hero shooters are the ‘in thing'. Adding just a pinch of MOBA into first person shooters, they combine MMO elements with cooperative and competitive online gaming with flare, riffing off games such as Destiny and the Division.

Great controls, great cast of characters with their own unique set of skills. Challenging campaign, can be played alone, cooperatively on local split screen (two players) or online (5 players). The multiplayer is fast and fun, reminiscent of MOBA games.
