You will love this speaker
I buy every gadget that I can. People come to work and brag about their Bose thingy, then I turn this up and they shut up fast. You will love this speaker. Battery life is good, reception is extremely good, sound is phenomenal!!

Too pricy for the quality of sound
Very well manufactured product with minute attention to detail. Well, its advertised as 360 but its not as omnidirectional compared to Apple homepod. Very heavy bass, but can be tuned with Beoplay app.

Too much bass and not enough battery life
In my opinion it is too big to be conveniently carried, it has very low battery life (just 4 hours at high volume, with bluetooth for a picnic), and the sound is too bass-heavy. The bass can easily be turned down though, using e.g. bass reduction in Spotify.

B&O Play Beolit 17 Review
The B&O Play Beolit 17 speaker provides a bass-forward, balanced Bluetooth audio experience at a slightly lower price than its predecessor. B&O Play's portable Bluetooth speaker lineup gets an update with the Beolit 17. At $499, the Beolit 17 is more powerful than its predecessor, the Beolit 15, yet it costs $100 less. From a design standpoint, B&O Play succeeds once again—the Beolit 17 is easy to operate and retains the simple, refined aesthetic of its predecessor. Sonically, it delivers a strong audio experience, and you can even adjust the EQ to your taste using the free B&O Play app. It is a bass-forward system, so audio purists may not be enamored, but it brings the lows with balance. Like the Beolit 15, the more affordable, more powerful Beolit 17 earns our Editors' Choice award. Design Available in matte finishes of light or dark gray, the Beolit 17 looks a little like the coolest lunchbox ever made, or at least the most Scandinavian. The 9.1-by-7.4-by-5.3-inch design (HWD) features a wraparound aluminum speaker grille on the front, back, and side panels, with a sturdy leather strap fastened near diagonally opp...
Pros:
- Excellent audio performance with subwoofer-like bass response and clear highs
- Attractive, refined design with easy-to-operate control panel
- EQ can be adjusted using free app
Cons:
- Expensive
- DSP can squash dynamics at high volume levels and flirts with distortion on deep bass, but only at top volumes
