Audioengine A2 Powered Minimonitor
I n July of 2006 my review of Audioengine's A5 powered monitors ($349 per pair) caused quite a stir, as many discussion board members - after reading my review - bought a set and came away impressed.

Audioengine A2 Desktop Speaker Review
Small dimensions, a pretty finish, power to spare, and two accommodating inputs, you can be sure Audioengine's Desktop A2 speaker system will augment your CD player, DVD player, computer, game console, portable music player, or any other product with a mini-jack or RCA output.
Pros:
- Beautiful appearance
- Great frequency response
- Strong bass output
- Nice warranty and return policy
- Portability
Cons:
- High treble
- but not loud enough
- Inconvenient volume knob placement
- No speaker covers

Audioengine 2 review
If we sound critical, it's because the look – and the price – of these mini monitors so strongly recalls regular hi-fi speakers. They offer a neat physical presence, and some of the benefits of well-engineered hi-fi loudspeakers, although midband openness and stereo soundstaging didn't quite match...

Great speakers. Gotta try get them to understand!
Been eyeing these for a long time and honestly compared to a lot of the speakers on the market and price you can get one that is better. But like I said I've eyed these for a loooooong time. It's honestly the best I've used so far hands down. Yes, a little pricey but honestly worth the money.

AudioEngine A2 Speakers: Mighty Small, Mighty Sound
This is a Quick Look of AudioEngine's latest set of speakers the A2's . I've previously reviewed the "big brother" of these speakers, the A5's, and I was extremely impressed with them. Would these smaller speakers deliver the same calibre of sound as the bigger and more expensive A5's?

Cons:
- Supplied speaker wire a bit short
- Power supply has low power factor
- Can't wait to try the new stands
- Not wireless

I've never given much of a fig either way about computer speakers. Oh, I know the gamers treasure a rumblin', tumblin', stumblin' sound system, all the better to capture the Birth of the Universe when Gonthrax the Inevitable pounds the Sacred Hammer of Flangedoodle . . . sigh.

Audioengine A2
After a two year gap between Thunderbird 2.0 and 3.0 Mozilla Messaging has released 3.1 in just 6 months. While the new version brings few new features, one of them, the quick filter bar stands out.
Pros:
- The quick filter bar makes it easy to filter only the messages you need
- The automatic email account configuration tool has been much improved
Cons:
- Comparatively few feature updates for a release after 6 months
