Oh look, Another Zenfone 2! Wait, that's the Zenfone Selfie? Nah, that's the Zenfone 2 Laser. Once again, Asus has launched a phone that looks nigh identical to the rest of its line up.

Asus launched as many as three variants of the Zenfone2 across storage capacities and price points. The inaugural Zenfone series in India which was launched last year, was a success and Asus managed to sell more phones in the Zenfone series than in its previous avataars.

The Asus Zenfone 2 Laser is a very good option with a price tag of ₹9,999. The handset is powerful, can shoot really good images and battery backup is also pretty impressive. On the negative side the handset is heavy / bulky and media sound is low.

A sus had surprised us all very pleasantly with the ZenFone 5 last year. Priced below Rs 10,000, the device nevertheless was a brilliant performer, and outshone even the likes of the Moto G. It was an outstanding product, but was squarely aimed at the budget smartphone market segment.
