Asus Zenfone 2 is one of the few squad members from the house of Taiwanese Tech Giant. This one from Asus is strong and agile enough to make its presence felt in the battleground against the likes of Xiaomi Mi4, HTC Desire 820Q and the stunning OnePlus One .

Snappy Performance; Featured Packed; 4G LTE enabled; Crisp and Vivid Screen; Fast Charging Technology; Decent Camera

No IR Blaster; Mediocre Battery Performance; Heats Up Quickly

Asus Zenfone 2 Review: Very Fast, Very Affordable

Asus crammed more RAM into its phone than any company before, and its Intel Atom CPU smokes other midrange unlocked phones like the Alcatel Onetouch Idol 3 and OnePlus One . Its removable back plate adds both style (with additional colors and designs) and substance (with access to the microSD and...

Flagship-level performance and 4GB of RAM; Micro SD storage with two micro-SIM slots; Solid performance; Robust camera features; Just $299 unlocked

Mediocre battery life; Weak speakers; Awkward power-button placement; A bit heavy

Asus is a name that nearly everyone knows, although very few know for sure how to pronounce it . For years they have made laptops that have been popular with the general population.

Minimal skin; small deviation from stock AOSP; Good looking device; Additions see to be decoupled from the ROM and are updated through the Play Store; Amazing value for money; Fast charging

Can slow/lag at times; Average battery life; Inclusion of third party software

Asus ZenFone was among one of the best sellers in the year 2014 and is still selling like hot cakes. It was ZenFone 5 which created a lot of buzz in the town. Cutthroat pricing and amazing specs was the main reason behind the success of ZenFone series.

Asus ZenFone 2 Smartphone Review

For a $200 to $300 smartphone, the ZenFone 2 makes a strong case against more expensive 5.5-inch devices, especially from a design and performance standpoint. The device itself is physically quite large, though no less difficult to grip and use.

Attractive design; Massive 4 GB of RAM; Fast system performance; 1080p IPS display with high contrast; Dual-SIM support; Rigid chassis; Clear speaker and reception

Faux brushed metal; Plastic and polycarbonate materials, Thicker than competing 5.5-inch models, Below average battery life, Average display brightness, No CDMA version, Soft pictures from camera, No USB 3.0 or MHL, Non-removable battery

Asus ZenFone 2 (Unlocked)

I can't believe the Asus ZenFone 2 costs $299. In terms of sheer power per dollar, it's unmatched. The ZenFone 2 has everything and the kitchen sink: 64GB of storage plus a memory card slot, two SIM slots, enough RAM to flip between several large games at once, and a surprisingly good camera.

Amazingly fast and powerful for the price; Good camera; Dual SIMs; Lots of memory

Big and heavy; Dim screen; Heavy Android skin; Too much bloatware

Asus Zenfone 2 review with video: Top quality specs at mid-range?price

This is one of the best phones in the mid-range at the moment especially since it offers top of the line storage and memory options.

The overall performance of the phone is very good; I did not feel any lag and multi-tasking was effortless; Yes, the phone does heat up at times, especially when it is doing something online; But that does not affect performance at any point.

Asus ZenFone 2 Review

Most people recognize Asus from its laptops and a smattering of Android tablets, but outside the United States, it also sells a lot of phones – 10 million to date, in fact. Its ZenFone smartphone lineup promises solid performance and a well-rounded feature set at an affordable price, and the ZenFone...

Outstanding value; Powerful hardware; Pleasing 1080p screen; Decent battery life

Pretty large; even for a phone with a 5.5-inch display; Bland design; Average camera; Software bloat

Review: Asus Zenfone 2

The Zenfone 5 was the most successful device in Asus first wave of smartphones. Little wonder then, Zenfone 2 has big shoes to fill. The new phone comes in three variants, and the one with 4 GB RAM costs more than double the Zenfone 5. Let's find out if Asus has another winner in its line-up.

Ideal for multitasking; Crisp screen; Solid multimedia performance; 4G LTE support

Average camera; Battery life could have been better

The rate at which the industry is pumping out smartphones these days is staggering. Even more impressive is the rate at which truly outstanding phones are shipping, even from names that weren't significant just a few years ago.
