BUY.com sent me a used card (all of the packaging was opened) but I decided to install anyway. Used the included drivers as well as the Win7 drivers from the ASUS website. Two bluescreens later I am returning the product.

Great value for money, highly recommended especially if you have a high-end gaming headset that needs some extra impedance. The software has loads of features. My previous creative sound card cost almost 3x as much and doesn't nearly have the value you get from this card. Good buy.
Wouldn't work with ASUS Z97-A motherboard and Win 10 Pro (creator version). Tech support told me the Xonar DGX would work and it's onlyabout $10 more.
Received this today, installation was very easy. I installed the latest drivers from the ASUS website and everything was up and running. At first everything sounded strange and distorted, it only took a little bit of messing with the settings and everything sounds amazing now.
Good quality card, so much better than on board sound. I've always been a fan of Creative Cards, but after trying this one I am mildly impressed. One thing that lets this card down is the Software bundled with it. Creative's software seems just more grown up and sophisticated.
The Xonar DG is a remarkably inexpensive half-height PCI sound card, but it isn't cheap and nasty. With 5.1 analogue surround sound, the obligatory optical S/PDIF output and variable impedance settings so that you can optimise the card's analogue stereo output for various types of headphones, it has...
Card works great and sounds great. Much improved over the "Headphone Virtualization" from my onboard Realtek and the MIc quality might be even better (it was very good with my onboard). Front Jacks work perfectly though you have to make sure you set it properly (i.e. AC97 or HD).
Dolby Headphone is great for those wanting good surround positional audio on their stereo headphones - Headphone Amp is a nice touch - Good sound quality
- For $30 its hard to really complain about anything
Got it to send Dobly Digital from a Home Theatre PC to my receiver. Found that one receiver not decoding the signal over the optical input as DD, but just 2-channel whereas another receiver works OK with same PC. Not a knock against the card but just a bit of info that might be helpful to someone.
Excellent value for money
Wouldn't work initially; Asus help was useless; eventually managed to download the latest drivers and it worked; still struggling to get the line in working
