"Revolutionary monitor totally worth the money!"

If you're playing video games on a high level, this is the sort of monitor you dream about! I had a 27 inch monitor 1080p, it works fine with 24 inch or less, but if you're going big, like with 27 inch, go with something more than 1080p, or else you can see the pixels, which you definently dont...

144Hz; 1440p; looks amazing and everything feels wonderful

It's expensive and you'll need a good screen card to get the max out of it

Great Monitor poor customer service from Asus!

Love the monitor, very happy with it until the PSU developed a fault after 8 months of use - Known issue with the 2015 build. Asus promised to replace the PSU, filled out all the RMA forms, nothing. 2 weeks later contact Asus get some line about the RMA not being linked with my request.

A 4K version is available

Expensive but worth it. But if I knew that a 4K version was coming I would've waited xD. Personally for those who are Interested in this monitor I would recommend sticking with a 1080p G-Sync monitor or pick the 4K version.

Review: ASUS ROG Swift PG278Q

G-SYNC is Nvidia's new proprietary technology, built into select new gaming screens. It forces the display to be a slave to the graphics card, only updating the screen when the graphics card has a new frame ready for it.

Great monitor

The image quality and motion is excellent. No analog audio in, only through HDMI is annoying because to get the 144Hz or 165Hz refresh, you must use a DP cable. (included) but then you have no sound in the monitor and have to use an external speaker. The first one came broken, which is a shame.

Asus' ROG Swift PG278Q G-Sync monitor reviewed

I keep telling you that you need to see this thing in action for yourself-in order to appreciate G-Sync, in order to grasp how decent a "good TN" panel can be. Earlier, then, I pointedly directed you to try out the PG278Q in person if you didn't want to end up buying one.

Great Monitor

Great monitor. Sad I didn't pull the trigger sooner!

165hz -Fast response -Low glare -Looks Great

-TN panel does distort the colors if you aren't looking straight at it; but for gaming it doesn't matter -External power converter

So, it's the end of this review, and I'll bet you want to hear my final thoughts. I can sum up the next several paragraphs in one sentence: This monitor kicks ass, takes no prisoners, and is one hell of a gaming monitor and would be great for an Eyefinity or Surround setup thanks to its slim bezels.

best 27" gaming monitor available!

Awesome quality and easy to set up with the buttons on the right dide of the display. 165Hz is so smooth on first person shooters and racing games. display port and hdmi cables in the box! connect your console to it as well as your PC. brilliant.
