I guess I got one of the good ones.

Like the title says, I guess I got one of the good ones. I read all of those bad reviews and still ended up purchasing this. I'm about 7 months in with absolutely no issues at all. Fingers crossed I don't run into problems.

-Great colors and viewing angles for a TN panel; -Anti-Glare is not noticeable once you get used to the monitor in my opinion; -Super easy to use menus; -Comes up from sleep extremely quickly; -Image looks amazingly sharp, as well as the design

-Some back light bleed when the screen is 100% black, but otherwise not noticeable; It's to be expected with a monitor of this size; Not quite worth putting as a con; I only saw it because I was looking for it

ASUS ROG Swift PG278QR 27" Nvidia G-SYNC Monitor , 2560x1440 , 1ms ,165Hz ( Ex-Demo unit for Clearance , no Back order )

Don't be fooled by the TN Panel, this screen will blow your mind with the performance, most people struggle to get it to 165HZ but just adjust this setting in the actual screens menu osd to 165Hz and away you go, I've been playing with 75HZ on my previous IPS Panel but this TN Panel will seriously...

Great monitor

The image quality and motion is excellent. No analog audio in, only through HDMI is annoying because to get the 144Hz or 165Hz refresh, you must use a DP cable. (included) but then you have no sound in the monitor and have to use an external speaker. The first one came broken, which is a shame.

Why 120/144 Hz and G-Sync would be interesting at all is something we will have to elaborate beforehand, because it's only when one understands the problem that the possible solution can be accepted. The first FCAT measurements showed the problems.

good brightness; good contrast; simple design; 144 Hz and G-Sync

expensive; low brightness uniformity and white point; only one DisplayPort connector; external power supply
