Sometimes a little slow to connect to the internet, but once connected it works well. Works on directly on VDSL, so need need to have BT modem.
Awesome router. I'm using mine on the fibre network and it was easy to set up. More features on it than you will ever need. Excellent wireless range. Ideal for bigger homes with lots of devices.
Very fast, easy to sort and works well with BT seperate ECI Modem. Absolutely avoid the version with the built in modem if you plan on using it in the UK.
Fast; simple; straight forward
Could be smaller
I was replacing an older Linksys Wireless-N router and the biggest issue I had was range and stability. The Asus RT-AC68U has been solid for about a week now. I am most impressed with the range.
The design may not be to everyone's taste, but this ADSL / VSDL modem router offers a good balance of performance, usability and price. Here's our Asus DSL-AC68U review.

Powerful networking; Its two products in one package

Permanent VDSL disconnects with any settings. Asus are firing out firmware updates like there's no tomorrow, but still extremely unstable. Returned and refunded by BT - top class service. Replaced with the RT-AC87U (also from BT Shop), working with an Openreach modem, all AOK.

After all, what's the point of having an AC-capable device, such as a flagship smartphone, tablet or ultrabook, if the router can only supply...
Excellent AC performance; Strong USB throughput; Feature-packed; Easy setup; Integrated modem
Expensive
Asus has made a name for itself in the router game, typically providing high-performance units with plenty of flexibility. The DSL-AC68U continues the tradition. It's rated at 1,900Mbps -- that is, a single 802.11AC stream capable of 1,300Mbps, combined with a 2.4GHz stream rated up to 600Mbps.
Asus continues its strong showing with its high performing, extensively optioned router; Its VDSL capability could mean future-proofing for some
The price will sting; and for those with USB plans; you only get one port
