Asura's Wrath

Player(s): 1 Extra Features: Download Content Asura's Wrath is the most explosive and over-the-top experience that I have had from a game in quite some time. I very seldom play games that offer such a unique and engaging experience on the first time through.

Asura's Wrath

It's definitely the season for conceptually refreshing - and exceedingly left field - games.

"Azura's Wrath"

Azura's Wrath, made by Cyberconnect2 and Capcom, brings a different style to the genre of action and adventure games. Azura's Wrath is a button masher that offers an interactive and entertaining story mode.

Great art design; unique style and story format; entertaining and fun to play

Azura's dialogue gets a little annoying; the game doesn't offer too many hours of story

Asura's Wrath

Less of a game and more an interactive anime, Asura's Wrath is fairly limited on gameplay. QTE's and a basic battle system intersperse immersive cut-scenes which is the main draw here.

Asura's Wrath

Asura's Wrath would be almost nothing without graphics and sound, so it's fortunate that it's nearly a first-rate production. Everything is based on Japanese mythology, but there's a barely-concealed cyberpunk aesthetic behind much of the divine stuff; just wait until you see the Brahmastra.

Asura's Wrath might seem like a game firmly engaged in the throes of an identity crisis. It balances delicately on the line that separates interactive movie from game in an attempt to buck the negative connotations generally associated with the former characterization and its love affair with...

Worthwhile story

Uninspired use of quick time events; Repetitive and lackluster combat system

Great graphics and soundtrack, with a story told in anime-style by chapter, but with simplistic (and confuse) gameplay, consisting of Quick Time Events and simple figthing sequences mixed into the story.

Asura's Wrath is unlike anything you've ever played. It is probably the best anime-style game ever even though it isn't actually based on an anime. It uses Quick-Time-Events extensively, but actually implements them well so they aren't annoying.

Asura's Wrath

Asura's Wrath is about an angry demigod getting revenge on other demigods for a plot concerning his wife and child. Before anyone calls this God of War with a Greek to Hindu pantheon swap, there are some major differences in story, characters and gameplay.

Quick Time Events (QTE) are one of the banes of gaming and rose in popularity during the PlayStation 1 into 2 eras. This is essentially the art of pressing a button once prompted during a cut scene.
